Golden Oaks Golf Club in Fleetwood, Pa. is considered one of Berks County's finest courses with a four-star rating from Golf Digest, which also named it as one of the top "Places to Play." It was voted the "Best Public Course" by readers of Berks County Magazine. Designed by local architect Jim Blaukovitch, the golf course has a classic design that appeals to players of all skill levels. The course has wide, inviting fairways but there are also some challenges provided by the rolling terrain, featuring elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Be prepared for a variety of uphill, downhill, and sidehill lies. Trees line Golden Oaks Golf Club's fairways and strategically placed bunkers protect the greensides. The golf course has some tricky holes but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper.

Favorite Course
Always love playing here. It is one of my favorite in Pennsylvania. The course is in amazing shape. Beautiful layout, perfect fairways and greens. Traps are kept up with nicely. This is a public course with a private club feel, and the rates are unbeatable. We are an hour away, but I’ll make the drive anytime I get a chance.
Always one of my favorite places to play
course is always in great shape. Since the weather was not ideal and the course received a lot of rain the night before, it was pretty wet everywhere. Not their fault at all. They were cart path only which was not good for me. Note, they don’t give out handicap flags. Over all course took the water really well and was in prime shape.
Summer in March
Played on a random 80 degree day and you would have thought it was mid season. Course was playing great a little bit of infection on the greens but nothing crazy. Staff was extremely hospitable, half way house was open with $4 hotdogs and $2 beers. Unbelievable experience for a mid March round. All in after GP pricing was $38 pp riding for 18 on a Saturday morning cannot beat it. I will be back as soon as they have more tee times available. Cannot wait to be back.
Nice course
Course conditions were very good even for November. Fairways were still green, bunkers were soft and playable. Greens had been aerated a couple weeks before but in ok shape. Fun and challenging course.

The staff here was very friendly. From the Pro shop to the starter, they were great.
The course scenic for a back-and-forth course. The course was in decent shape. Plenty of dead spots in the fairways. The greens were lightning fast. Made putting very difficult. The bunker were horrible. There was almost no sand. Most were clay and were just plain horrible. I would have expencted a lot more from a course that charges so much during the summer.
I wouldnt recommend playing here at full price. I was able to get it for $16 using my monthly coupons along with the hot deal. Im sorry to say but fix the bunkers.
Pretty good, especially for November
Fun course, decent layout. Conditions were good, especially the greens. They should try to do a better job of leaf removal in the fall. Very easy to lose balls, even in the fairways. Other than that, a good day 😊

Leafs & slow play
Course is in good shape even with the aeration 3 weeks ago except that the there are too many leafs around the greens which make it difficult to find your ball. They also need a ranger as the 2 groups ahead of us had over 2 holes open in front of them by the time they finished & the other twosome with us skipped 2 holes to jump ahead of them due to their frustration

Beautiful views and playing in the fall the trees were beautiful along with views of the mountain. We will surely visit again!
