Amazing Conditions

Thought twice about playing another forest preserve course, but this doesn't compare. Felt as if I was playing a private course. Great conditions, pace was fantastic, greens were smooth, all around good. Free soft drink after the round. Friendly staff. Recommend it to anyone looking to play a better than your average Chicago course. Each hole seemed to be like your own hole, very spread out and well designed.

Graet layout

Course played a bit slow due to the twosome that joined us.
Bunkers wer terrible. they were either rock hard or super fluffy.

Extremely Slow!!

For a Park District course, George Dunn is very nice. The course is in good condition and has some really good holes. However, the play at George Dunn is so extremely slow I won’t be going back. Management puts way too many people on the course. When I played tee times were every 6 minutes causing bad overcrowding. On several occasions there were four foursomes on or waiting to play one hole. Not to mention they don’t have enough carts for the number of groups they allow to play the course. Our round ended up being close to 6 hours long, which is just unacceptable.

Nice course!

I've played this course numerous times and I would say it's one of my favorites. Very challenging and the layout plays well. The only issues I have had are sometimes you get stuck playing a round of golf with jerks! What I mean by that, sometimes you have golfers behind you that think you going to slow, but you can only go as fast as the group ahead of you. FIGURE IT OUT PEOPLE!!!
