About
The Ledges Golf Club in South Hadley is tucked away in the Pioneer Valley, an area of western Massachusetts known for its lush, rolling hills. It is a favorite amongst locals since it is one of the best values in the region. The course enjoys scenic views that stretch to Mt. Tom and the Holyoke Range. It is on the shorter side at just over 6,500 yards from the back tees, but the dramatic changes in elevation make it seem much longer. Most of the greens are raised with steeply sloped sides, making accuracy essential since missing them by even just a few feet will result in a serious penalty. The golf course has a heavily wooded front nine that seamlessly transitions into a more open back nine featuring links-style holes. The Ledges is a shotmaker's course that offers several interesting risk-reward opportunities.

Course is excellent. Challenging especially the rough. Requires good shots. Course management. Highly recommended!!
Will return
Played this course a number of years ago, and didn't remember enjoying it this much. There are a lot of blind shots, but one could generally figure out where to go. Setting was very nice, hilly, scenic, not walkable for many of us, especially with a lot of distance between green and tee. We usually look to play around 6000-6200 yards, but chose whites, at 5500, and were glad we did.
Conditions were fine for early May.
Rain held off
Though we'd be in an all day rain. Rain driving to course, but thankfully stopped. Cart.path only for multiple holes (due to earlier rain) but conditions very good. All plan on a return trip.

Good test of golf
Better players will like this course, nice mix of tees to hit from , the greens are good and course layout great …will enjoy playing this course as long as the pace of play is good …weekends can be slow
Nice views, course is good
The course is in good shape, lots of leaves down this time of year makes it a challenge to find your ball even in the fairways. Course plays long, greens are good, fairways in good shape, some wet areas.
Good experience fun to play.
Great course
Ledges has become one of the regular courses we play. Always in perfect condition and normally a good pace of play.
Poor course management
They hosted an event in which the pace of play was notoriously slow. Need to charge group for a full day of the course in the future and not set unattainable expectations others could play all 18 holes. They were unable to reimburse or put a credit though we were only able to play 9 holes.
Top Notch Course
No drought issues out here. Vibrant green fairways and greens were great. Staff is always friendly. If this was a bit closer to my house, I'd be playing it every week. You will use all your clubs on this course
