Oak Hills Golf Course

course was in great shape, But it was extremely warm today! "Still better than being at the office"

This course has improved greatly in the last couple years. Greens were in good condition, fairways were mostly nice. Tee boxes are currently in repair, but that is a good thing. They are actively trying to improve the course and that's all we can ask for. Clubhouse was fine, nothing too crazy, but does it's job. Staff was all nice, the starter was a cool guy! Had fun, will be back a lot.

I’ve played/enjoyed this course many times over the years but each time the last 3-4 times I have played here have been less and less enjoyable. First off, if you are going to charge people nearly $50 to play then there’s a few things that should come with that. 1.) The greens shouldn’t be so long that you literally leave imprints with every step you take. 2.) If you’re willing to allow it to get as crowded as it was, have a ranger to at least act like y’all are concerned about pace of play (or a lack there of). 3.) Tell the one person that “runs” the “restaurant” that 1:00pm on a Sunday probably isn’t the best time to take an hour lunch break. The course conditions are awful at best, yet for whatever reason the green fees have doubled. At least one of the two parts of that equation needs to change dramatically before/if I’m going to be back to play

I loved this course but the greens were horrible. It seemed like every two feet there were huge ball divots . I spent most of my time on the greens fixing divots. One green had 22 alone.

Pace of play was relaxing. The course is beautiful and the price is worth the drive from downtown Nashville. Some of the holes are set up a little far from each other so pay attention but all in all great place! GET YOU SOME BBQ from their kitchen! Amazing home made bbq sauce and sweet potato fries!

This is NOT your traditional flat course with 18 up and back parallel fairways. The only tee boxes where you can see the green are the 5 par 3's. Every other hole is a blind tee shot and most of the holes have a blind approach to the green as well.

The greens and many of the fairways are steeply sloped so you it really pays to play with someone who is familiar with the course.

I had a lot of fun , but I like the challenge of strategic golf.

Many of the tee boxes are in bad shape and there are some bare patches in the middle of some fairways. But for the price, I won't complain. Hopefully as summer is kicking in, so will the Bermuda.

Tee boxes were solid dirt on most holes. Heavy sand on the greens. Many bare spots in fairways, erosion is prevalent.

As said above fairways were some of the worst I’ve every played maybe they get better latter in the summer hard to say. Greens were in really good shape other then being freshly sprayed with fertilizer that turned my hand blue. I showed up 25 mins early and I could here the manager or cart guy in talking to the pro shop attendee what’s he doing here so early we don’t open until 7:00. I thought it was a normal thing to show up early to a golf course so you can get to the tee box in time. They started me on the back nine because of the regular women members were playing that same morning. I was the first one on the course golfed the back nine in one hour. When I got to the 18th hole On my back nine I had to wait for the ladies group ahead of me to tee off no big deal. While waiting on the tee box another group of ladies came up behind me and said hey did they start you in the middle of our group I responded no I started on the back nine and this is my last hole. She said oh so this is where you ended up in a snotty tone. Needless to say I didn’t walk away from this place with a warm and fuzzy. Would I go back if I visited Nashville again most likely not I’ll spend my money on a better course.

Course was in great shape and dry! A little windy which made a few holes tough, but overall great day.

Greens were receptive, had a good day away from the office
