Oak Hills Golf Course

Enjoyed my round, greens are looking nice and rolling slow, most fairways were really good, a lot fewer bare spots than in the past, over course is greatly improving, will diffently play again.

The course is laid out on golf now as a 6500 par 72 but when you get there you quickly realize this is wrong. From the Tips the course is less than 6,000 yards. The tees were in terrible shape especially the tips with several that haven’t been properly mowed in at least a week. Won’t be golfing here again.

Great course for a bit of an ego stroke. Lots of short par 3s and 4s. Par 5s are mostly reachable in 2 w a good tee shot. Minimal hazards/OB, and no bunkers. Like most public courses, cartpaths could use some attention. On the whole, not a bad course to play at any skill level. Can't beat it for the price.

Course is great as far as design and layout. The tee boxes need some work and some greens are pretty beat up. But I do love this course I have played there many times

Oak Hills is always a great place to get a round in. Challenging holes and blind shots! People are friendly and pace is good. Tee boxes need a little work, but it looks like they have been addressing them.

Great for the price, greens in great shape! And no sand to be found.

They have recently aerated the fairways which are in desperate need of grass. Many fairways with severe angles with no grass to hold well hit shots. A couple of the par 3’s are stuffed into tight landing areas; be prepared to play target golf. Overall, we had a great round and the layout was interesting. As soon as they grow grass, this will be a really good value course.

It's always fun to play at Oak Hills. Just be ready for a lot of blind shots and slope!

For the price the coarse was a good deal. Some very interesting holes.

The deal to play here on GolfNow was good...but good lord. This was the worst maintained course I’ve ever played. Somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 of my shots were out of dirt. You were better off shooting out of the rough than the fairway since the fairway was entirely dead grass. The other huge issue was the course layout made no sense. Multiple instances doubling back, getting lost, and it was not cohesive at all.

The big pro was they had a couple pretty interesting and unique par 3s. Overall, would not recommend at all. Probably the worst course I’ve ever played on.

The layout of the 2nd hole is strange, having to go around 3, and then past the green to get to the tee. Aside from that strange moment, holes 5, 8, 12, 16, & 17 very nicely use the series of cascading lakes. I played on a day after a major rainfall, so the path on these holes had water rushing across it as the water drained from one lake to another. The greens are in good condition, the fairways have a few bad spots but for the most part fine. Approach shots cannot be offline or long without causing great problems. The course is only 5685 yards, yet feels like it plays a little longer.
