About
Orange Lake Resort & Country Club in Kissimmee boasts four different golf courses, two championship courses and two nine-hole layouts. Undoubtedly, the most popular course is the Legends. This Arnold Palmer-designed layout is like getting two courses in one. The front nine is a traditional links that is wide-open and windy, which makes club selection particularly challenging. It is a good warm-up for the even more demanding back nine. On the backside, you will be playing through mature oaks and towering pine trees that border the lush, winding fairways. It is quite a feat to successfully maneuver your tee shots through the narrow openings of the trees, which gives it the feel of a course in North Carolina. The signature hole is the 13th. This daunting hole features a large green that is shielded by a rock wall, surrounded by tall grass, and protected in back by a sand trap.

Nice Round of Golf
Moved quickly on my own. Met up with a gentleman for the last hole. Very nice.

Staff was great and friendly. Pace was good with little or no delays. Greens were super fast and hard with patches in places. Rest of the course in good shape and well laid out.
Resort course
Good challenge for me. Greens were a little slow. Course was in good shape otherwise.

We had a four ball out at 8.30 Saturday morning pace was great course was in good shape greens a little slow looks a lot faster than they were
The only thing I didn’t like my friend was running late and I was on the driving range he had to carry his bag over to the driver range from the bag drop he had a very sore shoulder and had to leave after 9 I just thought it was bad customer service it’s a pity because we all had a great game.

Great Design, Terrible Greens
I am in Orlando for 2 weeks playing different courses every day. I do not believe I have ever played such slow greens on such a nice course. The layout s excellent, especially the back 9. I really enjoyed everything about the course with the exception of the greens. Spotty in places, sand covered and I cannot believe how slow they were. Decent speed downhill although more than a few putts stopped on a down slope, but flat putts were pretty slow and uphill putts were some of the slowest I have ever played, and I have played many.
Hard review to write because if the greens were in better shape with just medium speed I would give it 5 stars. But unless you do not care about slow and spotty greens, I cannot recommend playing here. A shame because it is one of my favorite lay outs in Orlando.
Challenging but fun
I found the course extremely fun to play. It's in very good condition. The greens are moderately slow, but not as slow as the other reviews indicate. However, I found them to run true. Shot placement is important as you can get into trouble easily with the many hazards appropriately placed throughout the course.
Legend-dary
The professional staff at The Legends does a great job. Over seeded greens look great, but are slightly slow. We played Black tees but the Teal are back further and close to 7000. Beverage cart never far away. Resort golf - enjoy!

A nice place to play for the money. Conditions were pretty good. Staff was friendly and the layout is a challenge.
Greens need work
Enjoyed the course.Got to play with a teenager playing in tournament the next day.
Pace of play was under 4 hours.Big question was the greens were not only
exceedingly slow but in bad shape.Surprised to see tournament playing the next
day.Starter mentioned the greens had issues.

All was good ..the greens were slow compared to the reserve but it was an amazing day nonetheless . .the weather and price was a great motivator to place here

I returned to Orlando in late January and the greens are so much better! The Legends Course has become one of my favorite courses to play. I am guessing they were overriding in early December and hence the molasses like greens. SO glad I decided to give The Legends another chance.
