First and foremost: the tan man at the counter with the east coast accent is THE MAN. Now — about the course.

Short game. Practice it. This course does not give you good looks at the green…unless it’s over water. Get up and down.

All 18 tee boxes were hard packed dirt. No grass around greens for chipping. All hard packed dirt patches. Fairways were limited on grass. If you did find grass, it was crabgrass. I’ve played in better courses for less money. With the money they charge, they should make improvements!!!

Course in pretty bad shape, fairways nonexistent in spots. Greens were ok. Cart paths in bad shape. Grass around the greens was in bad shape.

Course conditions overall were horrible. Most the greens had stuff all over them and a majority looked like they had tire tracks all over them. Most the tee boxes were not kept up well at all. Fairways were meh at best, multiple times we were in a pile of sand right in the middle of the fairway. Pace of play was horrendous and staff did nothing to help with it or compensate. We booked for 12:30 and only got thru 14 holes in almost 5 hours. We stopped after 9 to ask for money back to stop playing at 9 as it had been over 3 hours at that point and we had places to be at 6:30 but they refused and said they told us it was going to be slow (which is just not true all they said was there was a few groups ahead and that the course was in solid conditions which was so far from the truth.) overall would never play here again even if it was for free, by far the worse course I’ve ever been too.

Course has lots of water, challenges, risk/reward holes. However - good luck finding any fairway grass to hit from! Greens have lines going thru them. No rakes for the bunkers. Bathrooms on the course were locked. Was also a 5 hour round. Ugh

5:40 for 18 holes in a cart is bad.

Fairways, greens, cart paths all terrible. No food for breakfast. No cart girl during the round on a Saturday. I’m not sure how this course is rated above one stars. It was bad all the way around.

Excellent value. The management seems to be focused on upgrading the course. It gets a lot of traffic. Oaks National is fun to play. I will play it again.

A nice layout greens were a little slow but consistent. Tee blocks and area around the greens were a little sparse but its an interesting round and a decent price compared to most courses in the area

Good value but the course needs more grass. Most fairway shots were on week or rough patches. However at the rate they charged I was happy to get out.

Only issue the wife had was. No rest room on the back nine.

I’ve played 49 courses in Florida and the oaks was absolutely the worst. Several tees were mostly dirt with little grass. The fairways weren’t much better especially near the greens. We quit after 9 because we just couldn’t take another 9.

You get what you pay for . On this day the greens were not well maintained and in poor condition.

The Oaks is trying to make this course better. It has issues with the tee boxes, greens, and rough. They all still need to improve. The layout is not easy.. The staff is very nice.

Range facilities are good.

You can see they are definitely working on some stuff. Course was nice and people working in clubhouse were very friendly and fun to deal with. but people on the course not so much. 4 some ahead of us had 2-4 holes open ahead and never heard of course educate. Need a ranger! Also one who knows his job and doesn't just ride around but actually pays attention. Beautiful scenery and a couple big haters to see.
