About
Hibiscus Golf Club is one of the few 18-hole courses in Naples that are open to the public. The course is player enough for beginners and while it may not be what you're looking for if you're in search of a formidable test, it's good for some casual practice for the more advanced player. The layout balances player-friendly, wide fairways with greens that are guarded by strategically placed bunkers. There is a series of lakes and streams throughout the golf course that come into play on nearly every hole. The golf course has seen several improvements since it first opened in 1969, especially after it was badly damaged from a hurricane. More than 200 trees were added as well as 1,200 grasses and shrubs. Hibiscus Golf Club also has a driving range and putting green.

Vastly improved
I’ve played here before and the course was in need of a little TLC. But it seems it got the care it needed and is very good shape. Pace of play was excellent due to the fact it’s August and no one is here. 😁
Only played 9
We only played nine and the The golf starter/golf attendant said to go ask the pro shop person, who said to go to Golf now since I booked through them.
I was a single and played by myself first one out 7:25am finished in an hour and a half 18 holes. Unfortunately course was very wet. Greens were slow. They need to work on drainage. Routing was good course was fun to play.
Very nice and going to get better
The course was nice and staff very friendly. 8 months since a reopenomg following updates the course was in pretty nice shape. Early next spring though next summer I think it will be even much better than now once the improvements get a little mor seasoning.
Hibiscus golf course
Much improved since it reopened. Cart path only, when there are no paths, is making a mess of the rough as many areas haven’t drained well. Letting the few people that played on 8/6 and 8/7 after the rain play, made a mess of a lot of the rough. Greens are mostly better a few are in distress. They obviously couldn’t cut them when I was there so extremely slow. Overall a good experience for the money and the conditions.

Hibiscus is a gem of a public course amongst the vast sea of private courses in Naples.
The staff is polite and friendly. Though Naples is in the rainy season, the course’s fairways and greens are in great condition. Given that there are few public courses in the area the green fees are reasonable and affordable. Hibiscus might be one of the few courses that allow 9 hole bookings.
Golf vacation review
Staff was very friendly and professional. I believe the starter name was Zack. He was very friendly and met me at the bag drop right away and after the round was great too. On a personal note it would be nice if the greens were cut. They were long and very slow with much moisture which made putting very difficult. This is always a course while I vacation and hopefully next time the greens will have improved.

Great staff, course in great shape. Greens a little slow, but understandable considering July in Florida. I will definitely play this course again.
