Lakewood Country Club
About
Lakewood Country Club of Naples sprawls across 52 lush acres that is home to an abundance of wildlife, including several different bird species. Located just outside of downtown Naples, Marco Island is just a few minutes away. The golf course snakes around four freshwater lakes, the sparkling waters contrasting beautifully with the native trees and shrubs that border the fairways and greens. The par-60 course is ideal for beginners, offering a round with a conveniently quick pace of play that will still put your short game skills to the test. Making putts is particularly challenging. Most of Lakewood Country Club of Naples's greens are elevated and you'll encounter water on 14 holes. There are also 28 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Every hole has a risk-reward scenario in play, which keeps the low handicappers happy but also gives new golfers the confidence to tackle the golf course without the fear that it's too much to handle.

Fun course
Great time with Jack and Janet. Easy pace no pressure
Highly recommend
Fun course
Fun course even though mostly par 3 there are some challenges. Great value and extremely nice staff
Fun Course
Lakewood is a fun place, great place for beginners (like me) to get a feel of the grass down here. I would recommend it to anyone, it is a extremely laid back place.
Worth a Visit
Staff excellent and really friendly, and the course is short and fine if you want to practice your short game. Facilities are not very good...can't even get a cup of coffee..think they are being refurbished. The cost compared to other courses in the area is good...but still too high considering it a mainly a par 3 course. Probably a really good course if you are a more nature player. Rather wet first thing in the morning.
Very disappointing
I was looking forward to playing this short par 60 course. Unfortunately, my experience was not something I’d like to repeat.
We were stacked up to start and stayed that way. Each hole we waited for 2, sometimes 3 groups to tee off. The pace of play was totally unacceptable. No rangers in sight to move things along. It took 2 1/2 hours to play the par 30 front nine. I left at the turn.
Tee boxes were a little rough and the greens were worse.
I love municipal courses, but this was not a 4-star experience.
Over rated
Definitely not a 4 star course! The course is extremely short, greens are tiny and course is minimally maintained. Cheaper than most courses but not worth it.
Give it a try...
Overall the course was in good shape, some greens were better than others. The two finishing hole #9, and 18 are two of the best. Good Loop! Give it a try!
Good and Cheap
good round, no one out there! Why, 78 degrees, gorgeous, and played alone!
Good value for price
good warm-up course excellent practice round
This is an 18 hole course and in good shape with many holes par three. Sprinkling some pars fours throughout the 18 holes.
The greens are small, which makes it a great for practice and if you miss you’re gonna get practice with your wedges. Tea boxes were in great shape. Staff was friendly and where in Naples can you get this type around for this type of value.
We really enjoyed our 2 1/2 hour 18 hole warm-up round at Lakewood and the staff is super friendly. And would play again.
Great little 18 hole course
Ok, if you like a big fancy course with major clubhouse facilities then this is not your place. But if you like a friendly and easy 18 hole course, near Naples then you should like this. It is very informal and friendly. Seldom seems too busy. It is quite inexpensive. No beer cart, so take your own beverages. My son and i did 18 in just less than 3 hours with a cart because there was no-one ahead of us.
