Lakewood Country Club
About
Lakewood Country Club of Naples sprawls across 52 lush acres that is home to an abundance of wildlife, including several different bird species. Located just outside of downtown Naples, Marco Island is just a few minutes away. The golf course snakes around four freshwater lakes, the sparkling waters contrasting beautifully with the native trees and shrubs that border the fairways and greens. The par-60 course is ideal for beginners, offering a round with a conveniently quick pace of play that will still put your short game skills to the test. Making putts is particularly challenging. Most of Lakewood Country Club of Naples's greens are elevated and you'll encounter water on 14 holes. There are also 28 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Every hole has a risk-reward scenario in play, which keeps the low handicappers happy but also gives new golfers the confidence to tackle the golf course without the fear that it's too much to handle.

Lakewood CC Feb 2026
Great course. Super nice people working in the pro-shop. only issue is the shortage of golf carts, which can result in a 20 +/- wait from the booked tee time.
Poorly Maintained
Greens are in rough shape. So are the tee boxes. They’re not putting any money into maintaining. Nice people for certain, but not worth the time.
Old executive course needing updates and repairs
Tiny greens that need moving. Fairways are fair at best.
Great little course to hone your short game
Love this course to work on my short game. While most holes are par 3, there are a few parts 4s which allow you to pull out your driver. Reasonably priced and fun to play.
Fun course
Great time with Jack and Janet. Easy pace no pressure
Highly recommend
Fun course
Fun course even though mostly par 3 there are some challenges. Great value and extremely nice staff
Fun Course
Lakewood is a fun place, great place for beginners (like me) to get a feel of the grass down here. I would recommend it to anyone, it is a extremely laid back place.
Worth a Visit
Staff excellent and really friendly, and the course is short and fine if you want to practice your short game. Facilities are not very good...can't even get a cup of coffee..think they are being refurbished. The cost compared to other courses in the area is good...but still too high considering it a mainly a par 3 course. Probably a really good course if you are a more nature player. Rather wet first thing in the morning.
Very disappointing
I was looking forward to playing this short par 60 course. Unfortunately, my experience was not something I’d like to repeat.
We were stacked up to start and stayed that way. Each hole we waited for 2, sometimes 3 groups to tee off. The pace of play was totally unacceptable. No rangers in sight to move things along. It took 2 1/2 hours to play the par 30 front nine. I left at the turn.
Tee boxes were a little rough and the greens were worse.
I love municipal courses, but this was not a 4-star experience.
