About
Hibiscus Golf Club is one of the few 18-hole courses in Naples that are open to the public. The course is player enough for beginners and while it may not be what you're looking for if you're in search of a formidable test, it's good for some casual practice for the more advanced player. The layout balances player-friendly, wide fairways with greens that are guarded by strategically placed bunkers. There is a series of lakes and streams throughout the golf course that come into play on nearly every hole. The golf course has seen several improvements since it first opened in 1969, especially after it was badly damaged from a hurricane. More than 200 trees were added as well as 1,200 grasses and shrubs. Hibiscus Golf Club also has a driving range and putting green.

They put a lot of money in this place , new greens, fairways and tee boxes. Right now the only thing good are the tee boxes, fairways are in terrible condition, greens are even worse, it’s like they are trying to destroy them. A suggestion would be get new grounds crew that know what they’re doing. Not worth what they are charging at this point.
The facilities are good, personnel are friendly. The Gollf bag boys are good, Starter OK. The T boxes are OK, need bigger markers to indicate what color they are, Blue gold Red. not visible enough.
Fairways OK, However the biggest fault is the Greens, really rough condition and some burnt out completely. NO grass on some spots, putting on dirt. NOT acceptable fpr a course like this.
Slow 9
Played for the first time since the renovation. Greens are rock hard, bumpy and sandy. Fairway grass is filling in nicely but is long. Tee boxes also very sandy. Pace of play was pretty bad. Teed off about 15 minutes behind schedule and round took 2:45 to play 9.
Busy place as public golf is scarce. Keep expectations realistic if you visit.
Condition of the course is poor.
Condition of the fairways and greens is poor. Pace of play is very slow, particularly when the tee offs were four minutes apart.
Staff were warm and welcoming. Excellent sandwiches at the turn although internet link for ordering was time consuming and complicated.
Hibiscus is not ready for play
This course was redone last year & the conditions are not good …..greens were extremely slow and with over 300 players there on Friday management must find capable Marshals to move groups along
2hrs 30 minutes for 9 holes was painful
Great Public Course.
Would return to play again, nice course. Great location in Naples.
