About
Hibiscus Golf Club is one of the few 18-hole courses in Naples that are open to the public. The course is player enough for beginners and while it may not be what you're looking for if you're in search of a formidable test, it's good for some casual practice for the more advanced player. The layout balances player-friendly, wide fairways with greens that are guarded by strategically placed bunkers. There is a series of lakes and streams throughout the golf course that come into play on nearly every hole. The golf course has seen several improvements since it first opened in 1969, especially after it was badly damaged from a hurricane. More than 200 trees were added as well as 1,200 grasses and shrubs. Hibiscus Golf Club also has a driving range and putting green.

Greens
Front nine greens not in good shape should have been told that before teeing off back nine in better shape
Hibiscus
Front 9 greens covered with sand, back 9 excellent.
Booking any 18 hole play after 2 pm means you can't finish before dark.
Great value
Hibiscus is a great value as a public course, one of the few in the Naples area. New fairways are in excellent shape.
Rough shape
Renovations are nice , a few greens are ok the rest are pretty sandy . Grass missing in areas on fairways.
Overrated
Course condition was not worth the price it charged. Greens were bumpy and inconsistent. Didn’t understand the extra growth collar around the greens. Cups for water were not provided and required additional purchase.
!8 HOLES FOR ALMOST 5 HOURS
NICE COURSE, FRIENDLY STAFF. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT IT TOOK ALMOST 5 HOURS TO FINISH 18 HOLES IN THE HOT WEATHER.
TOO GREEDY BY SANDWICHING TOO MANY FOURSOMES OUT TOO QUICKLY.
PAY FOR MARSHALS TO GET PEOPLE MOVING.
They put a lot of money in this place , new greens, fairways and tee boxes. Right now the only thing good are the tee boxes, fairways are in terrible condition, greens are even worse, it’s like they are trying to destroy them. A suggestion would be get new grounds crew that know what they’re doing. Not worth what they are charging at this point.
The facilities are good, personnel are friendly. The Gollf bag boys are good, Starter OK. The T boxes are OK, need bigger markers to indicate what color they are, Blue gold Red. not visible enough.
Fairways OK, However the biggest fault is the Greens, really rough condition and some burnt out completely. NO grass on some spots, putting on dirt. NOT acceptable fpr a course like this.
