This place would be awesome if they just restored all the bunkers!

A nice change from my usual courses. The course is very long. The greens were in great shape, tee boxes and fairways were fair and the bunkers were trash. Overall, I enjoyed the round. Can’t beat the price!

Friendly staff and decent layout. I didn't think the greens were bad, there were elevation changes which made it interesting. Bunkers on the other hand need a great deal of work, or just give up and make them grass. There is a general atmosphere of decay in the pro shop and clubhouse in general. I played as a single in 2 hrs, and it seemed busier at 0930 when I was finished.

Pleasantly surprised. Sand traps need work but I managed to stay out of them. As advertised there was some maintenance areas. Only had to wait on hole three. Got a free bucket of balls to warm up.

Super friendly staff! Ended up being 20 mins late for my tee time, and the gm squeezed me in on a busy day.

This course is a challenge for the average player. It's in good condition now. If you have a moment when playing you should enjoy the many great views around the property!

First time at the course. We found it well maintained with greens in good shape and fairways reasonably good. Two deficiencies were lack of sand in traps and angled tee boxes.

Nice Rees Jones design with plenty of doglegs and elevation changes. Tees and fairways ok, greens in excellent shape. Traps are simply horrible, so avoid them at all costs! Would be a good idea to remove whatever is left of the "sand" in the traps, put in sod, and turn them into grass bunkers. The rest of the course infrastructure (tee markers, ball washers, water stations, etc) are in sad shape as well. But all that should not prevent you from enjoying this great design in Ocala horse country. Friendly staff and a terrific value course!

This course has been up and down in condition. It's very playable now.

I had played a couple of courses near Ocala and a couple of guys in our foursome. Had recommended trying this course out. The course has a great layout Treeline everything you would want of course however, the traps Fairway bunkers are horrendous literally no sand mostly dirt and weeds if they ever find the money to buy a few truckloads of sand and fix those bunkers up this course will be awesome.

Seemed short staffed and had to wait 45 min to get a cart. Almost left, but it was good we stayed. Very long course and challenging. Played from the appropriate tees and it was fine. Greens and fairways in good shape. Again, they need carts and 1 or 2 more people.

Course good except for bunkers. They were not raked and had water sitting in them
