nice course
tees and fairways nice,,,,greens were really nice,,,,,bunkers not so nice but playable and there are lots of them.....a beautifully designed course that is visually stunning,,,,awesome green comp[exes,,,,,,a difficult course.....we had a great time here

Not bad for the price, its the same the tee boxes need some help here and there. they try to do there best . Jason is a great person trying to do his best with no help.
Course condition
We used to be members at Golden Hills before it changed to Ocala National. We used to love to play this challenging course but the condition of the course is very bad now. The sand traps have grass growing in them and a couple of water hazards have dried up. So sad to see the course in this bad of shape.
Good conditions
Aside from the bunkers which never change the course is always enjoyable. Jason in the pro shop it's always friendly and hospitable. Ready off the staff is always friendly and helpful.
Fix the flags
The course continues to make progress. For the right price (less than $30), it continues to be one of my favorites 😏 But please buy some new flags for the greens. Most were leaning over so bad, it affected putting & aiming for the greens. At least buy some new clips to hold the flags in place. Some are sliding down the flag stick to the ground.
This a course is well worth the time to play
The greens and fairways are in great shape , the overseeding really made a great difference to the playability of this course . The bunkers are still terrible but hopefully management will do something about this and really make this a great course .
Country Club needing some TLC
The course has a good layout and would be a challenge for any golfer from multiple tees. Bunkers are sadly neglected, many with no rakes, but not much sand anyhow. The greens were in very nice condition, many large, but a bit slow. Pace of play was 5+ hours and a wait on every shot; counter man sent everybody out as they walked in and back-ups with 4 groups per hole ensued.
