Ocala National at Golden Hills Country Club

On course bathrooms are out of order, also the bunkers are pretty much unplayable. We asked why no rakes and was told they haven’t put them out since Covid and the bunkers are getting redone this year. Love the layout, bathrooms in the clubhouse and staff. Would definitely play here again.

The course was very nice. It was quite a wait to get a golf cart and they're not fully open inside. Jeff, the bar and restaurant has not yet opened

Greens were good for the most part, not much else. Tee boxes inconsistent, fairways thin and patchy, rough scruffy but not long or difficult.

I like the routing and “elevation “ changes(for FL).

I will return for the price, challenge, and greens.

Driving range is in bad shape. No cart girl service or water availability on the course.

Had an around and enjoyed the company I paired up with. Challenging course and beautiful scenery wherever I looked. Did notice no ranger on site but when called pro shop someone came to assess the situation in front of us. Will be back again.

Greens in great condition. Fairways could use some help. Rough is rough. Bunkers overgrown on edges/walls. Forgiving fairways. Tee boxes very beat up. Tee boxes marked by one marker, sometimes hard to see.

Cart paths diverge into dirt paths- very bumpy.

Basic carts- no gps. Gas powered.

Shop has some shirts and snacks. Sodas and beer /white claws available, decent price. No free ice- $2.99 for a bag. No service on the course. Bathrooms near 7 and 13, also inside the club.

Grab a scorecard when you check in- they’re not preloaded on the carts.

Was $35 on GolfNow for 18 on a Thursday morning 7:24am.

They have a putting green by the club and a driving range between holes 1 and 10.

Would golf there again. Course was fun and cheap. A lot of hills.

This was my first time on course and I have to say it was an awesome relaxing round. Lots of challenging holes and pin settings. All in all I would've loved to see a ranger out there because foursome in front of me were driving up on a few of the greens but other than that it was very relaxing and enjoyable day on course. I will come back soon to Plat again

First time playing this course and it was a total relaxing and enjoyable round. Could've used a ranger of sorts on few of holes that foursome in front were driving up on the greens but other than that pace of play was good and conditions were good as well. As said before very relaxing and enjoyable round will be back to play again.

Greens and Turf were surprisingly good considering the current drought conditions. Way better than expected.

The layout was great. Front side requires a stright tee shot due to narrow fairways, Back nine was a littjer grier with less grass, But still playable and enjoyable. Had a great time.

Needs cleaning up, and could use water on fairway to get some grass to grow! Greens were pretty nice

Course is what it is.

Greens run at 8-8.5 on the stimp. Some rough spots but they do a good job of keeping the pins away from the troubled areas of the greens.

Fairways spotty, but if you play ball in hand you can find a good patch of grass.

Bunkers are washed out and overgrown. Not sure what they are planning to do with them. Fill them in or let them grow out to become grassy bunker areas.

Layout challenging off the tees. Great visuals and challenging enough for any level of play

Tee boxes and Fairways need improvement. It is very dry in Florida which does not help, but overall the course is in rough shape. Greens are ok and layout is challenging.
