My round at Ocala National
The course is in good shape. The greens are real well but the fairways are really tight. Off-coursel amenities are very poor. Overall it is a good course for the money.
Great layout
Fair ways were awesome greens were very slow the course was very good for the money but the nineteenth hole or restaurant was not open and that was disappointing couldn’t get a hot dog at the turn or any drinks
Great course!
Must have been the place to be back in the day but still a hidden gem! Beautiful course. Great staff. Highly recommend. We played it twice in a week. $40 the first time then a 26.99 hot deal! A great value at both price points!
Plays tough in the wind
Course is in great condition with lots of green. Greens roll nice. Some very commanding tee shots in the wind.
May Have to Give it Another Chance
Lot of rain recently, coming off the winter. Conditions were not the best but the layout shows a good course.
AWESOME golf course! What a value!
Great golf course! Over seeded and green! We loved it and plan to go back again this week.
The electric golf cart that two of us wrote him ran out of juice by the ninth hole. We traded carts at the clubhouse to play the back nine. That cart ran out of juice by the 16th hole, and we used our second cart in the foursome to toss the rest of the round
Course was in very good condition. Overseeding tees Fairways greens really shows. Nice layout and definitely worth the price. Pro shop very friendly and accomadating. Well worth traveling to.
Arrived at Scheduled Tee Time - Course Closed
Arrived at a purchased hot deal tee time only to find the course closed. No advance notice provided of course closing.
Interesting layout for Florida
This was the second time we played the course. I must say we were totally surprised at how hilly this course was. Being from Western Pennsylvania where no course is without hills, we were pleasantly surprised.. The course was set up quite fairly for both men and women. The greens were in good enough shape to make your most challenging putt. The pace of play was incredibly fast. We finished the round in three hours and 40 minutes.. Considering there was a fivesome of men and a twosome in front of our twosome, we were quite pleased. All this being said, the biggest problem with this course is their carts. Before we even teed off, my husband had to get three different carts. The first one didn’t have a windshield and it was chilly so I made him change it. The second one didn’t have a hill hold which is essential for a course of this nature. The one we settled on would not go when we got to number seven. The young man came out with a replacement quite quickly.. We would recommend this course, but be careful in choosing your cart.
