Absolutely Beautiful!
One of the more picturesque golf courses along the Treasure Coast. Extremely challenging especially for women. Very interesting holes!

One of the best in SF.
Worth the drive from anywhere. Awesome greens and fw’s. Nice level tee boxes, a few just re-grassed so we played on closer tee boxes. Had a couple beers and cheeseburger after. Their restaurant/ bar is a must for after play. Very Friendly staff.

The Fox Club is growing on me, gradually
I first played The Fox Club in an FSGA tournament in 2018 and I came away more or less hating the golf course. I found it absurdly narrow off the tee, with relatively few holes that were better than mediocre and a few that were flat-out bad.
I've been back a couple times, in large part because I've realized the course isn't so much bad as it is an ill fit for my golf game. It exposes my weaknesses - particularly, my ability to drive it straight. If I want to become a better player, it will help to conquer my reservations about courses like The Fox Club.
It also helps that the course's newest owners - the fourth or fifth in the last decade or so, by my count - are investing diligently in it. The plan is to get it ready to be a private club once again, which means that non-members who decide to play it should be impressed by the improving course conditions and other facility improvements.
About half of the tee boxes are being re-sodded currently, and should be ready by the first of November. So a couple holes will play shorter than you'll expect, but that's not necessarily a bad thing on a course that can be punishing, though selective cutting of trees and vegetation has thankfully opened up some sightlines in a few places. I'm not sure anything can be done about the par-5 18th hole, which remains one of the most awkward holes in Florida, but overall The Fox Club is on the upswing.

Great Greens, Resodding Tees
Fox Club is always a great experience. Fairways and greens were in great shape. Several tees were being resodded, so some tees were moved up, but it was a nice change of pace. Highly recommended course.

Tee boxes are a mess
Most tee boxes are under construction. The ones still intact are in poor shape. I wish I would have known. Greens need to be rolled properly and need some TLC.
