The Cape Club of Palm City

Course is great as far as shape and greens were great. Only issue i had was pace of play wasnt the best but i think it was due to lack of course knowledge they have no maps of the hole on scorecard or tee box so everyone has to drive up see where to go then drive back. If they fix that they are golden. Great course other wise just not fun the first time. Just get some hole maps and layouts!

Course was in great shape. Faster greens. I hadn't played there in overall 15 years when it was named something else. Staff was awesome from 2 cart guys and Duke who checked me in. Treated like a member. Pace was great.

Work being done on course, trees being cut back. Tee boxes being filled in. Each hole has its challenges. Love 18. Long par 5.

Glad I went. Will be back.

No water on course. No bottle water given any more, be prepared to buy in restaurant

A great track, a great Golf Staff, and perfect greens. Lunch menu is over-priced.

The fairways, greens, tee boxes are in good shape. And the layout is challenging. There are two things that are easy inexpensive fixes that the management could do to improve the player experience and get 5 star ratings. First and this is egregious. There is no drinking water on the course! On a hit day like today golfers need to stay hydrated. It's a matter of safety too. Thr only way to get water is to go into the clubhouse bar and order it from the bar staff. This is just wrong. It's simple to put water coolers on the course. Thud is not a covid thing. Every course in the area has water easily available.

Second, the flags are worn and all the same color like a mottled yellow brown? They can't be seen from the fairway very well. Also, the is no indication of pin placement. You don't know if you are hitting into the back front or middle of the green. Surely buying some red, white and blue flags would not crimp the budget too much. These two fixes would make the round much more enjoyable. It's hard to believe someone hasn't told the club to fix these problems.

This excellent layout is very fair if you play from the correct tee. Every hole is different and fair. The large elevated greens and rolling fairways are rare in Florida. Fairways and tees were in excellent shape. The greens had not been cut after a heavy rain, but they rolled well. A few greens on the back 9 had been aerated but not rolled and we had to putt over the bumps. We had to wait on the tee for the fairways and greens to clear on almost all the back 9. Good mixture of short and long holes. I look forward to playing here again.

I’ve played the course 3 times with heavy winds and cold, and enjoyed each round. Fairways can be soft but pretty much in great shape.

This is 1 of my favorite in FL. It is very challenging with quick greens. Will definitely play again.

Top notch golf course. If you live anywhere near the club it would be worth it to visit the Fox Club. It is a ,,tough course with elevated and fast greens and plenty of obstacles before you get to them.

Course invites you to go for max distance shots! But that’s not Golf....That’s attack without consideration for what should be done! Determination of how to take advantage of what the hole provides is key at Fox:) If you can manage yourself and keep you head screwed on straight success can be yours! Good luck!
