The Cape Club of Palm City

Last year my wife and I played(another course) with a canadian couple and the wife was adamant that the fox club was not a good course. So this season we decided to try it for ourselves. It was one of the nicest we have found here in central florida in 4 years of coming down in March from michigan.Our tee time was around 3 ish, We arrived and were cheerfully greeted by the cart guys as well as in the pro shop. For some reason they were not busy and they said we could go when we were ready,So we got out about 2:15. No one was in front of us and we have a couple guys behind us that we were able to easliy stay in front of. We got 18 in 3 hours and 15 min!!! Course was in great shape tee to green. Greens were very fast and firm,,,high appraoch shots would hold...lower shots would hit and roll off the back. I burned the edge of the cup more than I care to remember and the ball would just keep rolling Sand traps were decent to play out of without alot of gravel that I sometimes encounter..Play the right tees for your skill level and the course is a blast. Play the wrong tees and there are alot of forced carries that will cause one to lose alot of balls(water or natural vegetation waste areas).If you are near this course...highly recommend..Hope to play again soon

Great place, very nice staff, fast greens, challenging for high handicappers, but we might get addicted

Had great reviews and it didn’t disappoint. Wind made it play 2x as tough. Friendly staff and course is in excellent shape tee to green. Only complaint is that we arrived early to have lunch and was told the kitchen was having issue and nothing hot is available, only salad. We left and came back. Oh and the security at the gate needs hospitality training.

The course was in great shape and pace of play good

We got stuck behind a group of 4 drunken louts who took forever to play every hole and behaved poorly. No one told us couldn't hit driver at driving range. Have us 2 water bottles but didn't put any ice in cooler so we had 2 very warm bottles of water. Staff with the carts was not friendly at all. Wouldn't go back again. Spent premium money expected better service. Course itself was challenging and delightful.

Great layout, very different challenges from different tee boxes. Course is in great shape - except for players who don't fill their divots or fix marks on the greens.

Staff makes you feel as though you're a member and do so every time.

I drive 40 minutes to play the course, which has easy access from I-95 North or South. Just watch for the ever-present troopers, their laser yardages/speeds are all too accurate!

Great layout, challenging course!

Course conditions were decent. Very challenging layout, fast undulating greens. Some tee boxes a bit tough but it also looks like they've been doing a lot of work in improving those. This is a $95/round course. On course bathrooms are horrible. Most tee boxes were pretty tough. Course very average in condition and aesthetics for nearly $100. We just golfed Meadowood for $44 and the condition was the same, but better layout and prettier course. Not too impressed

Discovered this gem a few months ago. Mostly because it’s a good hour away and over 60 miles. Been back a half dozen times bringing my buds. Greens are beautiful but hard and fast!! Only negative on location and layout is I 95 along at least a half dozen holes. Only bothersome with westerly wind. This course will test your mettle with a fabulous horseshoe par 5 finisher. Long par fours even from the 5800 tees for this 75 year older. Challenging kinda sums it up. Played Saturday and stopped at restaurant afterwards only to find kitchen closed after lunch. Huh. All in all a good time.

I have been fortunate to play many great courses around the world, but playing the Fox Club off the tips was one lof the best experiences. The course layout is awesome: very challenging from tee to green and in perfect condition. The hot dogs from the cart were great and the buggies were the most modern I have used. We traveled an hour to get there, but I have already booked again!! Highly recommended.

Enjoyed my round at Fox Club, one of the best I’ve played in the area. I’m down here for part of the winter, and would rate it in my top 2 overall. I will definitely play it again, multiple times.
