The Cape Club of Palm City

We found the course to be on a challenging side. Overall it was in great condition. We had an issue with a dusty cart path. Way too dusty for us!

The Fox Club features a great layout with challenging fast greens and water on nearly every hole. However, I feel it is very overpriced. Course conditions were slightly above average and not worth $70+. In Orlando, you can play much better courses for that price. Pace of play very slow, groups in front backed everyone up and no ranger to do anything about it. Ended the 18th at 5 hours 12 minutes. Course overall: 4 stars. Worth no more than $40 a round

The course layout was good. Some holes their are tight fairways. Always lots of water in FL courses.

Haven’t played the Fox for a couple years. Some friends suggested that I give it a try, glad I did. Much improved under the new management.

Fun course, challenging and some very interesting holes. Winter conditions, so evaluating the course conditions is not totally realistic, but it seemed in good shape for the time of year. Beautiful club house, but didn't use the restaurant.

That said, there was no water on the course, no tee signage for the holes and for a first timer, directional signage was non existent. Staff was less than friendly, didn't seem to care whether you were there or not and they didn't even advise that the cart GPS was available and made no offer to turn it on. The course also looked like it needed TLC (collapsing land scape timbers, fences falling down, etc.). and the beverage lady just passed us by (which was unfortunate as there was no water available elsewhere.)

Title speaks for itself. Better than average layout and course conditions. As usual the area courses over charge this time of year to take advantage of snow birds but price is ok considering the market. Id suggest that if Fox Club considers themselves “ the best country club type experience in central Florida”, an easy way to improve the experience is make the range look more high end and include range balls in the price of a round.

Visiting a buddy who just moved to PSL. Have a connection at PGA Village, but reached out too late and ended up at Fox Club. Will be back again ... and again. It was 50 and blowing hard, but enjoyed every minute of the round. Strong variety of shots, fair green speeds, overall good conditions. If not for the noise from I-95, FC would check every box for a serious golfer ... not for the feint of heart.

The course was in nice shape. The greens are very firm, and fast. We have played here several times, and always been happy with it. This time not so much. Our GPS was not working from the start. We called on the first hole, and were told someone would come out. There are several holes on this course that it is an advantage to know the distance you want to hit to. By the 5th hole nobody had come out, so we called again. We were told there was nobody that could bring a cart out, and to just exchange it at the turn. When making the turn, there were no carts out, and they had to go get one., which took much longer than it should have. There were also 2 people there that appeared to be doing nothing. We could have just gone back, and exchanged our cart before starting if we had been told we would not get one with GPS until the turn. We were rained out on the last hole, and were not able to finish.

If you choose the right tees you will enjoy your game immensely. There is a lot of carry over marshy or scrub areas so if you are realistic about your ability you will have a great day.

The holes have interesting variations, a great course.

I know this place has changed hands a few times, but this is the best I’ve seen it. Their still working on it but I/w enjoy the course every time… You will too…

greens were very good, fairways fair; pin positions challenging. lots of debris on the fairways, divots not filled. pro shop poor. no food or even coffee at 9am? come on! cart guy and starter were cordial, that's about it.
