About
The Champions Club at Summerfield is an 18-hole championship course ingeniously routed through a briny wetland three miles from the Atlantic. This Tom Fazio design meanders through natural marshes and vegetation. Its 6,800 yards from the tips and each hole features multiple tees for players of all skill level.
Summerfield has received a commendation from the Audubon Society. You will encounter plenty of birds and wild life at this environmentally sensitive course.

Great Round
The course was in great shape considering all of the rain in the past few months. The new bridges are perfect. The staff in the pro shop are friendly and very welcoming.

Slow pace of play
There was a Ranger/Marshal on the course but not doing her job. Several holes, there were 3 groups. The slow group on the green, next group waiting in the fairway and our groin the tee. There was a hole and one half open in front of the slow group. The fairways and greens were in very nice shape despite a very heavy rain two days prior. Many of the tee boxes were in pretty bad shape. Nice course layout and scenic through the woodland marshes.

I told the staff I was handicap ask for flag. He said we don’t have a flag. They had a beeper on the cart and I couldn’t it within 40 yards of the green too tough on me very disappointed that they would treat handicap that way.
Nice layout
Nice layout, friendly staff, and great greens. Fairway and rough conditions improving weekly. Great 19th hole too.

Still Champions
I haven’t played The Champions Club in a few years…but it is still the same. It could use some improvements especially the tee boxes. The greens are nice and the fairways are ok…too many weeds. It is wet…drainage there sucks! But it is a good value and the people are always very nice
Looking good.
The course has just fully re-opened after some maintenance on the bridges. The greens are in really good shape and quick. The course has suffered very high rainfall the last few months and was still wet but looking good.

Solid Game
If you’re looking for course to play a solid round to test all aspects of your game, then I recommend this course. Besides the starter, the staff and clubhouse could be a little more hospitable. Amenities are short.
Great greens
First time playing here. They obviously have a plan. The greens were fantastic, clean and fast. Bunkers were in great condition. Now time to work on the collars and areas short of green (little thin.) I am being a little critical but this is hidden gem
