About
The Champions Club at Summerfield is an 18-hole championship course ingeniously routed through a briny wetland three miles from the Atlantic. This Tom Fazio design meanders through natural marshes and vegetation. Its 6,800 yards from the tips and each hole features multiple tees for players of all skill level.
Summerfield has received a commendation from the Audubon Society. You will encounter plenty of birds and wild life at this environmentally sensitive course.

Vacation course!
Course can be wet but it was not today. Nice conditions greens fast. $37.00 3 hour round!

Rough Course Conditions
The greens were in good shape, however, the balance of the course was extremely rough. The greater Stuart area has experienced significant rainfall over the past 2 months which has made course conditioning a big problem. There was a proliferation of weeds on the tees, in the fairways and roughs. The front nine was closed and we played the back 9 twice, which was fine, but Golf Now did not mention that the front 9 was closed. To offset course conditions and the absence of a front 9, the club did offer us a lunch chit to be used for a sandwich in the restaurant which was a nice touch. This would be a very nice experience if the overall course conditioning was improved. As a benchmark, we played The Florida Club a week before and its condition was far superior and it is only located a few miles from Champions Club and has experience the same amount of rainfall.
We apologize for the rough condition of the course during your visit. The recent heavy rainfall in the area has made it challenging for us to maintain optimal course conditioning. We appreciate your feedback and hope that you will give us another chance in the future.
Poor course conditions very wet!!! Front 9 was not open due to course being so wet Could be a nice place to play if the course was in better shape……. Staff was very nice

Bad week for golf
Course only had 9 holes open for construction, play was slow as people had to play 9 twice. Course was saturated from excessive rain during the week. Not anybody's fault, we quit after nine as it would have been a 5.5 hr round. Normally course is in great condition, very abnormal rain in Florida this week.

The excessive rain also affected the course conditions, which is out of our control. We appreciate your understanding and hope to provide a better experience for you in the future.
Champions Club at Summerfield
Course was underwater and only the back 9 holes are open. Cart path only. Workers were great but terrible experience as cart path only which was also under water in many spots.
Course should have been closed and it should have been disclosed that only 9 holes were openn.

Champions club
Not a good day there! First nine flooded and not told. Guess should’ve called course not good shape. Should have been notified with info before set off to play. Only played 9 holes. Very disappointed

Not a fan of golf pass charging 5.00 + to book t time course should not rely on golf pass!
Generally the $5.00 booking fee works out to be the same price as booking thru the golf shop, but in the future just call 772-283-1500 Ext.1 and book thru the golf shop.

Disappointing Round of Golf
My wife and I played the course in spring and thought it was fabulous. Couldn't wait to play it again when we were in the area. What a disappointment. Fairway grass was so long we were losing balls on them. No ranger on course and we were behind a very slow group with no golf etiquette. Complete opposite of our first experience.

The course had made wonderful strides in the last 6 months - greens had become great but now has slipped back to where it was before

I always enjoy playing Champions but on this date the greens were difficult due to punching and sanding. Still, a very nice round playing with some members.

Fun course
This was my 3rd time playing this course. It’s a fun course with some challenging holes. Unfortunately the amount of rain lately has made the course a bit messy. Still enjoyed playing

Rough Is Tough
Great layout. Fairways and tee boxes in good condition despite recent rains and hot temps. Greens in good shape and rolling nicely. The rough was tough - high, heavy, and wet. Staff always welcoming, friendly and helpful. Sandwich lunch at the Grill was good. A really nice course to play again & again.

Beautiful Course
Great conditions and beautiful scenery throughout. Bring an extra box of balls if you’re a higher handicap, once it goes OB its most likely lost (lots of sawgrass and thick brush) but other than that the course was amazing.
