About
The Champions Club at Summerfield is an 18-hole championship course ingeniously routed through a briny wetland three miles from the Atlantic. This Tom Fazio design meanders through natural marshes and vegetation. Its 6,800 yards from the tips and each hole features multiple tees for players of all skill level.
Summerfield has received a commendation from the Audubon Society. You will encounter plenty of birds and wild life at this environmentally sensitive course.

The course was very wet and muddy everywhere. They had done airafication but failed to let you know when we booked

Fun course except for the aerating
I purchased this through Golfnow. We were not informed that the back nine was aerated that morning, and the front nine the day before. Therefore, we were only able to play front nine 2x. Obviously the course conditions were not ideal. Had they been, it would have been a nice course to play. It would have been nice of Golfnow to inform their consumer of course conditions somehow prior to purchasing; but in all fairness I did not call the clubhouse prior to booking through Golfnow.

They closed holes 1-9. We had to play back 9 twice. Not an issue. But should have been told prior to reservation. Would have waited to play the course
We apologize for the inconvenience of you not knowing the back nine was closed for aeration for the day.Somehow you were not informed when your tee time was booked by Champions staff or Golf Now. Next time you tee it up at Champions please stop by my office.

Course is in good shape, fairways a little wet from all the rain. Otherwise, very good

The Rough
Great course which I enjoyed playing very much. Must keep in the fairway as the rough is high grass or extremely wooded.

Worth it
We received a lot or rain the day before and the drainage is excellent. Recent aerating is still healing. Great layout and a fun place to play. Excellent practice facility as well.

Nice layout, very nature oriented, but wasn't in great shape
One tee box was almost all dead grass, several greens had large patches of new sod that was recently laid, open drain boxes near the green on 18. For $49 during peak off season, it should be in better shape, or way cheaper IMO. I have a PLP membership at Hammock Creek and that course is always steady and in good condition. No reason this course shouldn't be the same way.
Champions Club is always striving to improve playIng conditions, we have a proven reputation for having the best greens in Martin County. The current conditions on only a few greens and tees is to only improve weak areas this is the time of the year to do minor improvements when the sun is shining and the days are long. The current minor projects happening at Champions Club are the type of horticultural practices that all first class facilities do to improve playing conditions.. Course has gone downhill
I’m not sure what has happened with this course. It have been one of my favorites for over 20 years. The course is in terrible shape. The tee boxes are terrible. The fairways are full of weeks and you can’t tell the difference between the rough and the fairway except for the cut. The greens are still recovering from aeration.
It will be a while before I go back. .

Wet, Wet Wet
Often wet because of poor internal drainage. With summer rains, there is a lot of casual water and cart path only.
