Bloomingdale Golfers Club
About
Bloomingdale Golfers Club sits on 220 acres of natural terrain with 100-year-old oaks, natural marsh preserves teeming with wildlife, fields of flowers, and thirteen lakes. Here you'll find a true Golfers Club -- no pools, no tennis courts, just Florida Golf at its finest. Tree lined fairways, pampas grass, massive waste areas, deep grass bunkers and contoured greens tempt golfers to play a round. Golf Digest described Bloomingdale Golfers Club as having the best collection of par 5's on one golf course as they have seen. Bloomingdale, which has been ranked #9 in Florida by Golfweek Magazine, is dedicated to preserving the natural appeal of the land. Course residents include a bald eagle, several sandhill cranes, sixty species of semi-rare birds, and the ever-present raccoon...the course trademark.

Course is Good Shape! Bathrooms NOT!
The course was in good shape and the greens were nice. The pace of play was excellent today. However, they really need to do something about the bathrooms on the course. It's a simple thing to have clean restrooms on the course - disgusting!
Pace of play was amazing along with the weather. Beverage cart employee was seen multiple times. Really good time.
Good course
Played with 9 other ugly, smelly, bad golfers (friends). The greens were in good shape. Tee off was at )900hrs so the started a little damp with dew, but soon dried out to role pretty well. The fairways were pock marked with old divots. FIX YOUR DIVOTS . The staff were all friendly. Biggest problem was the starter allowing single and doubles to tee off soon after us. On a weekend, that's not a good plan. We let a twosome play through and they immediately slowed down. We let a single play through, asking him to tell twosome to pick it up. Didn't work. Another single came up behind us at 15. Nice lady. New to golf. We invited her to finish up with us since no one was going anywhere. Saw the Ranger once. He gave us a smile and friendly wave as he drove by. Apparently our calling out to him and waving him over was ambiguous. He seemed to be having a good time. Any course I've ever played on a weekend has paired me up with a threesome or twosome. The cost of $65, with medium bucket of range balls was not worth a 5.5 hour round.
Disappointed!
I would call this my "Home Course", I play here often enough. The course took a lot of water(which is not fault-Mother Nature) but allowing "guests" to drive through the fairways tearing them up & leaving the course in the shape that it was in was extremely disappointing. Couldn't use the restrooms on the course because they were all locked except for one, which had a badly clogged toilet. For the course to be in this shape, was not only surprising, but shameful. I am usually excited to bring my friends to play here. Today I was disappointed. I may be awhile before I come back, if at all. There are to many other options for similar $ rates. I would've taken pictures if I had thought about it.
There was a tournament so play was backed up! It rained and the course was really wet which further slowed our play. The staff were very friendly and kept us apprised of the situation! They also provided us a rain check as we only finished 9 holes in 4 hours!
Tough course
Cart path only due to heavy rain yesterday. A number of soggy fairways. This course gets a lot of play.
Lou in the pro shop was very helpful, and worked out a way to let us tee off a little early as a twosome. As a result, we played quickly - finished in just over 3 hours. Greens were slightly sandy, but rolled well. Tee boxes and fairways in good shape. Beverage cart came by a couple times. Excellent pizza in the clubhouse.
Too slow today
Course a little wet but the rate of play is too slow and messing with the rhythm!
On the Money for the Price
We were teamed with another twosome 2 very nice young men. the play was a little slow not because of the quality of the players but because it was a nice Saturday and the course was full. Fairways and greens were excellent. Tee boxes were quite sloped but playable. Late rain cut off our final hole. The rain was forecasted for late in the day. The first-time weatherman was right in a month.
A great deal
Bloomingdale remains a challenging course in very good condition. Yes, you have to wade through some traffic to get there but it is one of the best values in Tampa Bay. Good greens and fairways. But please put some sand in your divots. Some big gouges in the fairways amid our wetter conditions of late.
