River Hills Country Club

Pace of play was not very good if you are a single, but if you are a foursome, it’s not the worst I’ve experienced. The pro shop and the young man running the carts were very nice and friendly. The course is in mediocre shape. I would not pay more than $40-$50 to play this course in the current condition. Everything is very tight lies. The fairways are cut extremely short and several greens are under repair. I can see the potential in this course being really great but at this current time, it’s just not worth it.

Course was in excellent shape. Fast greens, only a few that were being patched up but still playable and didn’t affect my putts. Bunkers were fluffy and new sand. Tee boxes were well maintained. Overall I think this is the best course iv played in a while, 10/10 would recommend.

Great layout. Some of the greens had some funk but overall was good. Kinda bad to see year old greens with fungus. Didn’t see anyone in front of us until 16th hole.

Love this course. My days off rotate every week and I always check for a hot deal for one of my days. When you book, if you’re a get there 10 minutes before tee time, don’t. The free driving range , chipping area and putting green are great. I get there 45 minutes or a hour before tee time The coolers of iced down cooling towels at the range and on the course are a great extra

Loved everything about this coarse it's a private coarse so I was privileged to have been able to play it hope I get another chance

Course is in good shape, staff is friendly, and you can’t beat the member for a day deal. The driving range was undergoing renovations it seemed so everything was off mats. The chipping and putting area was great.

Greens are in decent shape, a couple bare spots on some holes. However, all of the par 3s are getting the tee boxes repaired. So every par 3 was playing 80-85 yards , would have been nice to know that before the round. Not worth the 80$ at the moment

Great deal to play a truly private course. The bunkers are all brand new and in great shape. They were finishing two holes so they had two temp greens but for the price, it’s an unbelievable value. The greens are some of the best I’ve played this year. The best $32 round in all of FL.

If it wasn’t for the temporary greens, due to bunker construction, this would be a 6/5. The greens are so pure, and the fairways are money. Layout is phenomenal. I was really pleased with the course. One of the best in the Tampa Bay region for its price level. When all the renovations are done it will be PRESTINE. There was only 2 or 3 “temporary greens” but definitely affected the round.

Most of the course is an awesome shape. The greens are coming into their own. They are still rock solid from being installed. They are doing bunker work all over the course so some of the holes have temporary greens. I believe it was three of them when I played, but it changes from day today as they work on the project. Overall, a great course, but will be phenomenal in 6 to 8 months.

Decent conditions until the back nine. First two holes and at last one other had temporary greens. Would've been OK had this been communicated somewhere.

Greens in very very good condition keep them rolling great job.

For this time of year, this is best course around our area. Fairways and the greens are in great shape . Big fun to play. We were visiting Tampa for the casino and decided to play golf. Turned out to be a great idea.
