Nice course / Slow pace
Very good conditions, great sand in traps, greens were great. Pace of play slow…we left after 15 holes.
3 groups on the same hole several times on the back 9.
Weekday Round
Course was in good condition and the staff was very friendly
Great Course
Challenging yet fair test of golf from the green tees (6400). Greens over seeded which provided color without detracting from speed. Par 3’s were excellent. Like many courses in the area, the drought effects are evident, but RHCC is well maintained and extremely playable.
Terrible Pace of Play
Did a member for a day through golf now and I’d be infuriated if I were actually a member here. Course was in pretty lackluster shape, but with the recent cold spell that’s not something I’d hold against them. However, the churlish staff in the pro shop and the lack of someone to enforce pace of play I will. It took almost 4 hours to play 9 holes.
Nice course just dry and burnt out
Most courses in this area I have played recently are dry and burnt out so no suprise. Bunkers were nicely kept. Greens were above average. Would play again
Great Course, Friendly staff
Great course, loved the layout, staff were friendly. Has huge chipping and putting area for practice, along with driving range. You're layout was great with challenging holes. Greens are starting to come in, fairways too, tee boxes are in great shape. Couple months of some growth and the course will be perfect.
Great value
The staff are very welcoming from the pro shop to the bar. It was a cold day so pace was quick.
Greens had been verticut recently but they ran much faster than they looked and rolled true. Considering the time of year the conditions were good. Really enjoy the round and would return if in the area again.
Excellent playing conditions
This course was in excellent playing condition, well kept.
The greens were in immaculate condition, very well lay tv
Course, requires skill and good course management take what the course offers.
Tests best in you
Arguably one of the best layouts in the area. Excellent practice facilities, nice fairways and superb greens. I recommend highly.
An Honest Review
Pace of play was not very good if you are a single, but if you are a foursome, it’s not the worst I’ve experienced. The pro shop and the young man running the carts were very nice and friendly. The course is in mediocre shape. I would not pay more than $40-$50 to play this course in the current condition. Everything is very tight lies. The fairways are cut extremely short and several greens are under repair. I can see the potential in this course being really great but at this current time, it’s just not worth it.
Riverhills
Course was in excellent shape. Fast greens, only a few that were being patched up but still playable and didn’t affect my putts. Bunkers were fluffy and new sand. Tee boxes were well maintained. Overall I think this is the best course iv played in a while, 10/10 would recommend.
