Bloomingdale Golfers Club
About
Bloomingdale Golfers Club sits on 220 acres of natural terrain with 100-year-old oaks, natural marsh preserves teeming with wildlife, fields of flowers, and thirteen lakes. Here you'll find a true Golfers Club -- no pools, no tennis courts, just Florida Golf at its finest. Tree lined fairways, pampas grass, massive waste areas, deep grass bunkers and contoured greens tempt golfers to play a round. Golf Digest described Bloomingdale Golfers Club as having the best collection of par 5's on one golf course as they have seen. Bloomingdale, which has been ranked #9 in Florida by Golfweek Magazine, is dedicated to preserving the natural appeal of the land. Course residents include a bald eagle, several sandhill cranes, sixty species of semi-rare birds, and the ever-present raccoon...the course trademark.

Tbis course has some great holes and challenges.
The problem with this course is they let people jump in and start on 10 backing up those coming off #9. Does not matter which day are time. It is very frustrating to allow this occur time after time.
They have carts that tell the club house where each cart is. WHY!!!
They have people on tbe course at least 2 holes behind, people hitting (example a 4 some hitting 8 shots off the tee box) then standing around sfter each shot talking and laughing, while they looking back to see 2 groups waiting.
SAD SAD SAD
Awesome
We got hooked up with another pair. One of the guys Paul was a real piece of work. Hated every minute with him. The course was great he made it bad. I will never again play with that guy again. The other guy he quit after 13 holes had enough. On 14 we went around this 3 some to not play with him. Thsrs when it was really good. It will take to long to explain all his actions but trust me had no golf edicate. Totally one rude guy.
poor course management
We teed off on time (1:15). We made the turn at (3:15) and when we made the turn there was a foursome on the 10th green., another foursome in the fairway and 2 foursomes waiting on the tee. Needless to say, after 2 and a half hours later,(5:45) we had to call it quits because of darkness after playing 7 holes.
Great job after the storm
The course was in pretty good shape after the hurricane. The staff did a great job.

Bloomingdale
Played this course for 25 yrs. Good layout. Greens and tees just ok. Good job of cleaning up debris. What happened to the ball washers? Good value. Nice to see Lou still in the pro shop
The greens had just been sanded
I like the course but the greens had just been sanded. The fairways and bunkers were in good shape. I will play here again.
Pace of play
Stacked tee times, slow players, and sub optimal course conditions. Simple things could make this course great- but nowhere near the value especially with 5.5 hr pace.
Post hurricane play
They lost 65 trees and you can see the pounding the course took Other than mowing debris and the tons of leaves on the ground the course was very playable and only one green needed some work. Enjoyed my round. Course needs a hundred truckloads of sand to make the bunkers playable ( not a hurricane issue ).
Course conditions
They’ve done a great job cleaning up the course just days after hurricane Milton….great job!
Milton aftermath
A lot of work has been done to make the course playable and is continuing to get it back to normal. Balls not in the fairway were difficult to locate and fallen trees ensured they were lost. Bunkers need to be worked on because water which have been drained, have left them a mixture of mud and sand. But should be much better in a few weeks once the work continues.
Need some work
Given the weather and recent storm can’t knock them for long grass and lack of mowing, decent track would rank higher if they weren’t charging full price while they get it back into shape
