A. J. Jolly Golf Course

Play here many times during the year and do not know of any course that compares for value or conditions. Kenton co, is terrible, Twin Bridges is o.k. for what it is(country course) and Hickory sticks is getting better but still needs a little more tlc. Now that Terry Jolly is not the head pro I hope the course continues to be a great choice for a scenic round. Also, they have a great senior rate.

You always know when you play Jolly it`s going to be in good shape.I sure would like to see a new clubhouse!

Always in great condition. Short but fun track. Every club in the bag gets used. More challenging than the length makes it appear.

Course was in very good shape especially considering the harsh weather conditions lately. Some spots in the fairway were brown and the rough had some crab grass but as mentioned before I am sure the heat had a lot to do with that. We will be back.

Course is always in good shape, staff are friendly. typically the course moves well but on this day there was a bit of a slow-down with some groups. highly recommend playing.

I alway love playing here. The staff is very friendly. I okay here a few times a year and they remember me and that blows my mind. The course is always in very good condition.

If it’s not too far of a drive and getting a good deal we’ll worth it. First and foremost the staff amazing and the course has a great layout. 5 stars if course was in a little better condition, greens little hairy with decent amount ball marks and fairways ok. Hard to find trouble great course for beginners and only 6,200 yards from tips. FYI no driving range if you like to hit beforehand.

First time playing AJ Jolly. Solid course that was in very good condition. Pace of play was surprisingly fast for a Memorial Day. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will play here again and I would recommend it to other golfers.

First time playing this course. Here are the need to knows: 1. Course length, very short, little over 6200 yards from blue and under 6000 from white tees with only 2 par 5's total. 2. Pace of play was extremely slow, which is strange for such a short course. 3. Greens very well kept with most divots repaired. 4. Quite a bit of elevation which makes for many side hill lines. 5. Friendly staff and very accommodating. 6. Price a bit high for what you get. 7. Clean restrooms and nice reasonable snack bar. 8. Good amount of water stations throughout the course with portapotties.

Overall, not a very challenging layout, short in length with tricky to put greens that have quite a bit of break (which is the only defense the course has).

Being 77 years old the course is real niice, but senior tees to long for me. I think if they could move them up it wouldn't make anybody mad.

Most holes on par 4's I used a driver and still needed a 3 wood and still came up short. Just to long for

senior players. I THINK 5400 yards is plenty long

enough. TYVM

Well trimmed fairways. Greens in good shape, not really fast. Cart paths could use a bit of repair.

Solid course. Maintenance was great. Fun round. Hole 16 (I believe) is kind of stupid unless you can hit a 220+ approach shot. All the par 3s are long.

Greens were rolling true and in great shape. Course was wet and cart path only but still played in less than 4 hours. Beautiful views, water used well, great value, great track.
