Good value for the money
I use to live on #8 and played the course often, for 5-years and the greens were never very good. Now at this point in time they are 7.5-8.0 on a scale of 10. Hope someone has noticed besides me......
No complaints!
It's coming back pretty well, most courses in Baldwin have their trouble spots. Course was busy but not slow. Greens were pretty nice. Hadn't played there since '16 and it's gotten a lot better. Jacob does an awesome job keeping the course up! See yall again soon!
Great value
Course is in the Best conditions in years. Greens are very consistent. The Price is right!
Getting better
I play here on a regular basis, glad to see some renovations on some tee boxes. The greens are better than they have been for many months and are headed in the right direction. This makes everyone happy. Keep up the good work.
Enjoyable course
Enjoyable round even for a poor player. A couple of greens needed work, but nothing major
one of my favorite local courses
I always enjoy this layout. My favorite hole is a par 3 with about 100 ft elevation and a pond in front, which gobbles golf balls. I even saw a club sticking up out of the water once. I will be back as long as I am in this area.
enjoy
I find that when I can play 18 holes i 3 1/2 hrs or less I tend to play better and enjoy the round more. Some of the greens have been worked on and are better as some of the fairways. There are still a few of the greens that need work, but they are all playable. I'll be back.
Play somewhere else
Young Pro Shop attendant very rude, zero people skills. Felt sorry for the 2 players in front of us. They were 4 minutes late for the tee time (of course the 1st tee was backed up on a 30 minute delay due to a morning tourney) but young man said he couldn't get them back in the lineup until almost an hour later.
Fairways are like 1st and second cuts on most of the courses in south baldwin county. Weeds/grass 6" in fairways. No 2nd cut, no fringes, leaves/debris all over course. Terrible conditions. Greens have some good spots but mostly all in terrible condition. Probably a good course 20 years ago but sad shape now. Same amount it cost to play here you can play on much nicer courses in the area.
Not worth the money
Course was probably a nice place to play 20 years ago. Proshop young cashier definitely needs to learn people skills and a little personality wouldn't be bad. Tee boxes are in bad shape along with the majority of the whole course. 6"-8" weeds in fairways and worse in the 1st cut. Greens are not the worse in the area but rank in top 3 of being the worse. The Marshall was very nice, accomodating and the best part of the course. A lot of general maintenance and upkeep would go a long way to help this course to be better.
