Lake Forest Golf Club

Course was probably a nice place to play 20 years ago. Proshop young cashier definitely needs to learn people skills and a little personality wouldn't be bad. Tee boxes are in bad shape along with the majority of the whole course. 6"-8" weeds in fairways and worse in the 1st cut. Greens are not the worse in the area but rank in top 3 of being the worse. The Marshall was very nice, accomodating and the best part of the course. A lot of general maintenance and upkeep would go a long way to help this course to be better.

The staff in the pro shop was friendly and helpful. I played on a Wednesday and they have no beverage service on the course on Wednesdays. The course does not come back to the club house after nine holes so you cannot run into the 19th hole for any kind of food or beverage.

The course was in average shape. Quite a few tee boxes ( I played from the Green tees) could use some serious work.

The pace of play on this particular day was extremely slow and we did not see a marshal on the course during our almost 5 hour round.

Layout is good and some holes definitely are more "course management" vs grip and rip which I like.

The staff was rude when checking in and the restaurant staff was just as bad. The starter was great. The course is in bad need of help. More weeds than turf. Greens are extremely hard and weeds are taking over. Fairways are need major help with weeds and turf management

Course is in very average shape. Gas golf carts that don't run great. As long as your are getting a Hot Deal tee time, it's worth the round.

Course is average, starter is a great guy always loved him, cart girl as well a great person, but everytime I come here the pro shop worker just really gets under everyone’s skin. Always had a stick up his you know where and acts like he’s above everybody. Real piece of work if you know what I mean. Besides that guy I will always enjoy the course, they just need to find a friendlier person behind that desk.

Course has a good layout just needs a little more grooming.

Played with my wife . Course was in pretty rough condition, but then again , played in February. Forward tee boxes were mostly sand . Fairways were spotty which led to balls not holding the fairway… Greens were also inconsistent . Expected better .

Stuck behind several foursomes of beginners n town for Mardi Gras. Bad luck. Course ok despite drenching rain night before

The course lay out is beautifully. But for first time players it's better to play with a local. As the course winds around and thru neighborhoods.

The course has a nice layout but not in good shape. The Time of the year doesn’t help. The Green were in pretty decent shape.

This was the 2nd time so I understand the layout better. I did better and hope so better next time.
