Play in the spring
The course lay out is beautifully. But for first time players it's better to play with a local. As the course winds around and thru neighborhoods.
Fair
The course has a nice layout but not in good shape. The Time of the year doesn’t help. The Green were in pretty decent shape.
Course
This was the 2nd time so I understand the layout better. I did better and hope so better next time.
Interesting Golf Coarse
Good condition for this time of year.. fairways good and greens were consistent. Challenging but fair. Green fee reasonable… also driving range and putting green available. I will play this coarse again
Rating
We played Christmas eve so a lot amenities weren't available. Over a descent course, we're back there Jan 2nd, should be better. Thanks
Mean staff
The guy working at the golf course office was so mean and impolite. The green is so rough. Don’t recommend this course.

First time to play in this course. The person at the golf course office was so mean and no smile at all. I won’t go back there.
Nice Course for a Fair Price
Lake Forest is a nice golf course for a fair price along with very friendly staff!
Worst Course in Baldwin County
This course is absolutely terrible strictly because of the management. The enforce completely absurd rules and are uptight about everything unnecessarily. They refuse to actually show any respect to paying customers and act like they don’t even want you there. They do not even tell you about rules changes until you are halfway through your round and now have to cut off early because they decide that they want to get off earlier.
I have played here multiple times, but will absolutely never go back because I have never had a good experience here. I have played every other course in Baldwin County and never had a bad experience except here. Please do not give them your money. There are plenty of other good courses they respect and value the experience of their guests.
Slow play
Establishment needs to do something about the slow play players who play every Saturday. There are a few groups out there where the pro shop will not say anything to speed them up. This is unacceptable!
Customer came in late, had a rider but complained about paying for an extra cart. Held tee times for the rest of his foursome and the group behind and was rude to my starter as well.
