where did they hide the crabgrass
Solid layout, not overly penal and compared to other courses it was in really good condition. I will definitely play here again before it snows. One question tough, why such a small sign at entrance?
Always a good course
Course is in much better shape than those around it. They run a tight ship to keep it nice and that is appreciated. One the best in Montgomery County!
You can’t play as a single
I saw online that Tee times were wide open for the next 2 hours, drove 45 mins there to play. They refused to let me play as a single even though no one was teeing off for 2 hours. I have never experienced this anywhere else. Desk clerk was unapologetic.
greens are good, fairways need help
Turtle Creek is a nice course that usually is in good shape. It's certainly shabbier than I've seen it, especially in the fairways where there are big bare spots on many of the holes. The greens are in good shape and putt true so that part is on the mark. Hopefully, some weather with less heat and less storms will help and the course will regain its old conditioning. We had a nice day here and enjoyed our round.
Course is a good value and generally in good shape. Doesn't drain well, so don't play during/after a good rain. No speed records being set with pace of play, and don't expect any semblance of marshalling either. 5hr rounds are common. By no means the worst place to play though.
Happy to move along quickly
I enjoy playing this course but in the pasti have avoided it on weekends because it backs up. Played in 4 hours.....couldn't be happier.
Nice open course
Some of the holes are very hidden like 18
So I need to play course again. Starter was a little fanatic when we made the turn
Worth the money!
Pace
I’ve played the last 4 weeks here, each week the pace of play gets worse, today we couldn’t finish our round. No ranger presence, tee times going off late, squeezing groups together. Waited on ever single shot until we left after 12. I use to love this course but ppl shouldn’t be on the course if they can’t keep a decent pace, five hour rounds shouldn’t be a thing.
Solid Track
Wide open course that you can score on. Greens rolled very well. Fairways and tee boxes had some rough spots but better than average. Would play there again.
Loved it
Very nice lay out the staff was great. They greeted me coming and thanked me after I was done my round. I will be back again
Turtle is Green
It was a beautiful course Pace of play was good can't ask for much more on a Monday afternoon and at the at the golfnow price we got a winner. We'll be back.
Very nice layout...the wife enjoyed her play because very open course. Would recommend.
Links style
Links style course... greens rolled true, fairways in good shape... not a lot of shade on a hot day
Great track, great condition
Always love getting a few rounds in here a year, one of my favorites in the area.
