Great track
Wonderful course good mix of holes have to do some thinking out there. Really enjoyed it would definitely play again
1st time at Turtle Creek
Very friendly staff, very pleasant. Only problem was it poured rain after our 2nd hole so hard the course had to be closed.
always a winner
After a weeks worth of somewhat heavy rain the course conditions were super. The sand traps were unplayable , a free drop if you found one, other than that a terrific round of monday afternoon golf.
Great course and very friendly staff!!
First time playing this course that was recommended by some players we were paired up with a few weeks prior. It was a very well maintained course and amenities. Staff were very helpful and friendly! Good distance for me playing from the reds, and a little too short for my boyfriend from the whites? Will definitely come play there again.
Great course
Challenging course very well maintained. Disappointed that Danette didn’t open until
After our tee time - couldn’t warm up.
Friday round
As always Turtle was great! One of my favorites in Montco!!!!
Still Like Turtle Creek
Played Turtle Creek for the first time last year and I still like it. It's always in good condition. Pace of play is good. It's just challenging enough but few tree-lined fairways take that problem out of my game. Water and bunkers make up for fewer trees but it's a fun course.
Got a hot deal and used a promo code to keep it in my desired price range.
Very disappointing
The design and layout of this course are excellent. The conditions were poor to say the least. Weeds all over the course. Greens were poor and the clubhouse is a joke. Will not golf at this course again.
Over Priced But Good Course
Personally I think $68 is too much for this place. Course was in good shape greens were still coming around. Pace of play for Saturday morning was excellent.
Best Course Around
This course is beautiful, perfectly maintained, and well run. The starter is on top of his game, the greens and fairways are perfectly cut, and even the rough is well maintained. It is worth the price to play here. The only hole that doesn't make sense is #12. Very Very Very difficult to keep your ball on the narrow fairway due to the slope (any fade or slice and you're toast). Other than that by far my favorite course.
Great condition
The course was in great shape and the greens were fast and true, they were however tough to hold, they were a little bouncy . This is a well maintained course.
We played Friday afternoon and we were a twosome. We played the front 9 in 1:20 min, but it came to halt on the back nine. Took 2 1/2 hrs to play back, very slow pace. A ranger would have been great to pace play
Overall this is a great course
First Time But Certainly Not The Last
Turtle Creek was a nice surprise. Course was in great shape even though they've been improving the drainage system and shortened the tee box on the 5th hole. Fairways were beautiful, greens predictable, even the sand traps were in good shape.
This course has a nice layout - pretty wide open except for a few holes on the back nine. It's not a long course (around 5800' from the whites and about 6400' from the tips) but it sure is fun to play. There's enough water on the course to make for some thoughtful shot selection.
We had a good time and can't wait to go back.
Difficult, but Fair
Turtle Creek is a challenging course. It is well laid out and you need to be on your game when you play here. The course has a number of dog-legs, blind t shots, plenty of forced carries, and holes with multiple water hazards. The greens tend to be true, but sometimes can be quite a bit faster than the practice green.
The course is family owned and is part of a golf complex. They keep it well maintained and things are quite organized. There is a large range, miniature golf, and a pitch and putt in addition to the main course. They have an outside concession with a grill and plenty of refreshments for a quick turn-around. It is located about 40+ mi. outside Philly but is worth driving an hour of more if in the area.
