Designed by Earl Stone, the previously named Gulf Shores Golf Club went in 2005 through a renovation that lengthened the course by 300 yards. Solid Layout & Fair

Enjoyed playing GS,good pace of play 4 hrs. Course layout is fairly wide open, some water and sand but really fair. The greens are fantastic and rolling well, would qualify them as fast, much undulating and some tight pin placements day we played, back to front green slope can be severe and punishing. Missed a 8 ft birdie from a side hill pin high shot, rolled past and thought it would end up a foot long, then it rolled 25 down the green, not happy but did laugh, hole 8. I’ll be back on this trip soon.
