Cypress Bend at The Craft Farms Resort

From Missouri and was spending some time in Alabama and this course was on the bucket list.

Excellent greens and awesome fairways. Combine this with a superb staff and it has everything you could ask for. Next time I’m in the area this is going to be a must!

Had an 8:20am tee off this morning. We had a great day on Cypress Bend at Craft Farms. Enjoyed playing golf with my 70 year old Dad who has macula degeneration and is relatively blind and my 16 year old son too. Three generations of golfers enjoyed the course today. Great hospitality, clean and ready to go carts, well maintained golf course and facilities, and the course layout was enjoyable and a little challenging too. We had a great time. Thank you Craft Farms from one member of “Arnie’s Army”!

This course was in great shape. Staff was very friendly and made you feel right at home. We played cypress and there were a bunch of hazards but still very user friendly. Would go there again.

Great for all varieties of handicaps. greens were rolling nicely however every hole cut from the past 3 weeks was visible. Open fiarways with bunker layouts and water on every hole creating challenging tee shots

$150 for a round means PGA level course and amenities- not quite what you get at Craft Farms. Course is in good shape and staff is great but price of round does not match.

The man, Trey, who checked us in was very friendly! The starter guy was so helpful especially bc we were first timers! We had a 3:00 tee time so we were last on the course to finish. A man named Bobby, met us at the end of the course, followed us to the car, wiped our clubs off and took our carts back! What a guy!! Thanks Bobby!!

Excellent facility and course layout. Staff were very friendly. Course itself was nice and the greens rolled true. A bit over priced for golf during the winter. Overall, very nice.

The golf course was in great shape with soft green fairways & nice medium-fast greens. My tee time was at 2:30 & I played a 3 1/2 round. Staff was friendly like always & I will be playing the Cotton tomorrow.

The vibe of this course is great. I loved the clubhouse, pro shop and bar. Clubhouse has a farmhouse style vibe to it with a great views onto the course from the bar and restaurant. Pro shop is one of the most well equipped shops I’ve seen with unique gear to the course. Staff was the highlight, they really take care of you here. Everyone I dealt with was great. The course layout is fun, and challenging at the same time a lot of different types of looks. Played both the cypress and cotton course. I preferred cypress but both are in some of my favorites I’ve played.

Course was in good shape for February golf and after one pm rates were very reasonable.

Nice resort layout, greens well protected with traps, but fairways wide and forgiving, lots of water but not many forced carry’s. Greens very good easy to read.

Very good winter golf course

Foursome ahead got more than 20 min behind pace, before marshall chastised them. Then than that course played well. In good shape for mid-February. Grrens ran true enough. GPS on carts was new and a nice feature. Would play again.

Loved these courses.

Both in fantastic shape.

Cypress is harder (more traps, tougher greens).

Cotton creek is still very fun.

Layout was very fun.

Enough rolling hills to make adjustments on every shot.

Greens, like glass and no straight putts.
