The stunning fourth. Tricky, strategic and exhilarating. Yet fatal on the left side. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/23/2021

Eight. Bold 3-par of 204. You’ll need a fine tee shot to keep the wolf at the door. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/23/2021

Eleven. Solid tee-to-green test. Hitting and putting this green are the keys. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/23/2021

Thirteen: Wedging into a green pared down to essentials: a frontal bunker, a narrowing surface, then a big backside falloff. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/23/2021

Sixteen. Dr. Hurdzan’s greens resemble those of Donald Ross: crafted, meticulous, well-contoured. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/23/2021

Eighteen. #2 index. Problems galore. As at all par-5’s here, playing the angles well may save you from disaster. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/23/2021

Wow
Came in from out of state and found this hidden gem on GolfNow!! Amazing course, very tough. Only thing flat is the tee box. Bring your A game. Course is in great shape
Ist time on course
Course is very nice and was in great condition, greens were a bit hard but with aeration not so long ago, in great shape. Lots of elevation changes, which without local knowledge was challenging. Overall very happy with the course price was outstanding. Would for sure play it again.
Hidden Gem
Even though the greens were not quite fully recovered from aeration, they rolled true. Any course that cares enough to also aerate their fairways is serious about creating a healthy, vibrant environment for good golf. The course layout makes the player think about club selection without being gimmicky. There are many opportunities for risk/reward that add to the enjoyment of the round. The various tees allow the player to select the difficulty level. This course is truly a hidden gem.
Great course!
Greens were just punched
And it was Good Friday and we were packed in like sardines on times.
Course is great as usual
Will be back!
Lovely Course
The course was challenging at times. There was some wait time but nothing ridiculous., Staff members were considerate of the tee time and surroundings.
Pilgrims
Only thing that would help would be to have GPS monitors in the carts. First time playing you have no idea where to shoot when you can’t see the flag/green .
Great golf in the middle of nowhere
If this course was located in closer proximity to major population areas it would be more well known, crowded, and costly...so, if you don't mind driving for an hour plus.....it's well worth the trip. The pro shop guys aren't the warmest and welcoming sort that you would find....but certainly not rude.
The starters on the other hand have always been really helpful. The course is always well maintained. The flow of the holes from "easy" opening hole, through short par 3s, to long par 5s (9 is a bear) is an ideal mix, often with hard holes followed by easier holes. Its a cliche, but your likely to use every club in your bag here...its not all grip it and rip it. Bring your "slope game" as there are frequent uneven lies. The finishing hole is really tough...I've scored par on it only once (I'm a 14 hdcp). It's a long tee shot to reach the fairway...and requires very careful shot management inorder to avoid water that snakes in and around the remaining shots approaching the green. If you want to hit some warm up balls...I'd recommend heading up the road toward Tanglewood (another very good and under rated course). Just before that course there is a good driving range. Enjoy.
A course you want to play over and over
The course is in great condition the greens were rolling good but still getting over aireation I drove one and a half hours well worth it.You play it once you'll go back to play it over.
Great challenging course
Course is awesome. My 2nd time playing it. Both times fairways & greens were in excellent condition.
Definitely a challenge compared to my local courses.
