another enjoyable round
I have played Rolling Hills a number of times. This round was very enjoyable. The greens were in very good condition, probably due primarily to the rain over the past couple of days.
All-in-all a very enjoyable round of golf.
As an executive it was challenging and interesting
A very decent short course
The wind was howling so this round was pretty unpleasant, but I've played this course many times. Greens are very good and roll true. Many challenging pin locations. Bunkers have new sand, are very fluffy. Layout is, for the most part, fairly vanilla. A great place to work on your short game.
First golf after surgery.
Pretty good condition for an executive course. Staff was friendly.
An older executive country club course that can be hard to find without a Gps, but once you’re there, life is good!! Greens are firm but do hold a good approach shot, bunkers are deep but have some of the best sand I’ve been in in Tucson. Give it a try, I think you’ll enjoy it!!
Very nice, good value....friendly staff
The course was challenging and interesting in terms of layout......enough breaks in greens to challenge.....and some water with nice views. The back nine is more challenging and different from the front....so you won't get bored......will return. On a personal note though, it's a tough one to find for a 1st timer from up north a bit......as are most courses in Tucson, not located right off the 10.....have to drive in a ways.....logistics make it a little inconvenient.....but still a very good day all around........thanks.
Great executive ( game improvement ) course.
Got a Gonga deal ( Hot Deal ), so the price was fantastic. All par 3's & 4's. Greens are fairly small, and all are elevated, making approach shots challenging. If you're looking to improve your short game, this course will help. Still ( long enough ) par 4's to allow you a variety of club selections.
Can't say enough about the friendly staff.
There are many folks out that are high handi cappers , so be aware. Leave your 'short fuse' at home. This is a laid back atmosphere.....enjoy yourself.
Relaxing way to spend an afternoon!
This was the first time we had played in several months. The course was open, forgiving, and not too long for our first time out. The staff was friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to give us tips to make our round as enjoyable as possible. We will be returning to play here again.
Rolling Hills Rocks
I've played Rolling Hills a handful of times while visjting Tucson for a month. What a wonderful experience. Staff is always thoughtful-- Jeremy found an irons cover I lost last week and returned it to me. Great course to work on your short game. Greens in immaculate condition each time I've played. Frequently a 4-some or other combination will ask if I want to play through. Only one negative comment: Rolling Hills isn't in MY hometown! Wish it were.
Nice course, greens were in great shape, rolled well, good speed. Friendly staff...
Would be nice to have ready made sandwiches like wraps when making the turn.
Great intermediate course
Perfect course for stress free round. This is like the old time small town course.
This course has great features.
It is an enjoyable course to play. Not overly difficult.
You'll use every club in the bag. The fairways are good. The greens are in good shape, they hold your shot and roll true. Not super fast nor are they slow.
For a par 3, par 4 course it's a fair challenge!
