Good spot
This is an old, flat course that's fun to play. Very good condition. Great greens.
More women friendly
Since a course rating and changing forward tees this fall, the course is more playable for women. It is still long, but much better than before.
Enjoyable round
Greens are in great condition
Fairways and tee boxes were okay
Very friendly staff.
I would play there again - except it is a long drive from Oro Valley.
Disappointed Tucson native
I am very disappointed with the failure to honor accrued points.
There is too much competition for golfers dollars to be dismissive of fair treatment of the public.
Unless and until this attitude changes l will be golfing elswhere.
Basic public layout
It was lightly raining the day I played so very few people there. The course has lots of trees lining the fairways and was in good condition.
The holes were basically straight and level so was not very interesting or challenging. The bunkers were well maintained and very playable. For a basic round of golf it is great, but if you’re looking for a track that will challenge you look for a different course.
Solid Muni Course
I played this course on 11/2/25. I had read some reviews saying the fairways were dry and brown. This was not the case. The course is in good shape. The staff is super friendly. I would definitely play here again.
I don't understand what the city of Tucson has done to their golf courses, Randolph was one of the best courses in Tucson and now its unplayable, the same is true for El Rio, and Silverbell.
Randolph review
If golf pass restores its review function so I can easily see them when I want to book a round then I will start leaving reviews again..
Fix this please.
Great value for money.
Even with the temperature it was a great first-time and looking forward to the next tee time I get.
Course Condition
As we are heading into the summer months the course has deteriorated considerably from winter conditions. Lots of bare spots on the fairways and the tee boxes are choppy. Sand traps were in need of grooming.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Did not play Randolph, they moved me to Del Urich.
Randolph cost me more, but they moved to Del Urich, not as nice, and I would have preferred Randolph.
Not in very good shape
The pace of play was great even though they had a junior tourney still going when I teed off. Condition of course left a lot to be desired. Many bare/dead spots in the fareways. Though I teed off at noon, there were puddles and mud in many places. I was forced to play "lift, clean and place" conditions. Sand in bunkers was wet and hard-packed. Staff was great, course not so much.
