Winter over seed is needed- greens and surrounds have been done but not fairways

Hate to see this place in the condition it’s in. Not good

Much of the course was painted to look green from a water shortage greens were spotty and very bouncy

This golf course is conveniently located just off I-60 East, making it super easy to swing by for a fun day on the greens! When you arrive, you’ll discover a large driving range, a putting green, and a chipping area to help you polish your skills. The staff is really friendly and always ready to lend a hand, which makes the experience even better. Although the pro shop is currently getting a little TLC after a recent incident, the team is hard at work to get everything back up and running. Plus, the starter currently offers complimentary bottled water to keep you refreshed during your game! And there is a well stocked beverage cart and snacks. The young lady operating the beverage cart did a great job keeping us fed and hydrated.

Most of the tee boxes and greens are in good shape, though a few rough patches that will affect your putting. The fairways are cut tight, dry and the painted green. You'll get into some challenging positions to play if your ball skids off the fairway and into desert areas where balls easily get lost, which led to slow play. A bit more clarity on the cart paths would also help with getting around. All in all, this course has so much potential, and with a few tweaks, it could become an even better spot for a fun day of golf!

Have always loved this course but it has not been maintained at all. They removed a bunch of the water which changed the look of the course which isn’t the biggest deal but they clearly didn’t overseed this year and the greens were less than even average. They use spray paint to try and make it look green but fairways are in terrible shape.

Course iis not in good shape. Fairways are painted green and also some spots on the greens. No real ruffs; just gravel mixed with bare dirt.

Not that I am an expert golfer, however, there are two choices at Apache Creek...Drive on the Fairway (which is basically hard pan, not what we expect for fairway) OR Ground covered with dirt. There is little rough which one would expect. People were great, my clothes needed a serious wash cycle to get the dirt out.

We had low expectations to begin with. A links desert layout. Ponds are pretty much empty. Greens were in TERRIBLE shape. Any grass rough was brown or dead or dormant. Most "rough" is desert. They're trying I suppose, but fix the greens! I wouldn't pay rack rate to play there. The Hot Deal made it palatable.

Very cordial greeting in pro shop. Clear instructions about course rules. The starter (Pat) was helpful and very pleasant.

Course had very good fairways. The greens were excellent with a couple having some grass problems, but not horrible. Would definitely play there again.

So coming out of overseeding you would think the greens would be a little more plush but they had some brown spots and where the grass didn't grow. But probably every course in town has a little bit of something going on. Our cart got hit by a couple balls and no one says four out there. They just let her rip let the courses overall really nice course. I enjoy it. I'm just excited about seeing the greens when they're back to normal
