About
Although there are many other desert golf courses in the Phoenix area, Apache Creek Golf Club offers one challenging championship course that requires the use of every club. The golf course features wide open fairways and undulating greens that are sloped back to front, some are also double-tiered. There are also numerous sand and grass bunkers protecting the fairways and greens. Extensive mounding on the course cause uneven lies and water hazards come into play on a few holes. The most difficult of the several demanding holes on this golf course, is the lengthy par-5, 10th hole. Apache Creek Golf Club also boasts two practice greens, a pitching and chipping green with a sand trap, and a large driving range with various targets.

Nice course greens really disappointing
We golf here most seasons. This times the greens were the worst ever. The grass was really patchy and uneven. Ruined the round. We stopped at 9 and cut our losses.
Will not return,
Course in terrible shape.
Have played this course often, but not in recent years. Decided to play it this week. Course is in terrible shape. It’s like playing and entire round on a putt-putt course. Everything is rock hard. Greens like concrete. Can’t take a normal divot on fairways. So bad it just wasn’t fun. I used to really enjoy this course, but they have completely let it go. Do not plan to play here again any time soon.
This course SUCKS!
I wouldn’t pay $20 dollars to play here again. The greens on the front 9 holes were some of the worst greens I have ever played. They were dries out weedy and dead. DONT WAST 70$ to play here it’s not worth $20
Greens...UGH
The greens are in poor shape with freaky weed grass throughout. Fairways plagued with the same weed grass.
Get a Groundskeeper or Replace the One You Have
Course in terrible shape - definitely NOT worth the $80 greens fee. Install permanent restrooms on the course, not port-a-John’s! This course is among the worst I’ve played in the past 2 years, and I’ve played many in Phoenix and Tucson.
Not even worth the savings.
Everyone is in each others fairways
even if you are a good golfer you will lose so many balls

This was one of the only courses we could find as late as we looked for tee times. The previous two days were rainy, so all courses were filled. I can see why this one had openings. It is ok in a pinch, but wouldn't play again.
Greens we're weird
Years ago course use to be in better condition. Some of the greens were faster than others, but look like they had a disease. Definitely not a 80.00 plus per round so I will not play this course again until the summer, when fees will be where they should be.
Will return
1st time playing here having traveled to Phoenix area from Minnesota. Will put this course on our return to Playlist for the next trip here. Course was fun, pace of play was good (thanks to the Ranger), greens were nice and staff was friendly.
Dissapoiting
the overseeding or whatever was going on made it impossible to read the greens.. IMO greens are most important part of the course ...if the greens are camouflage I will not return!!!
Rough Front 9, great Mountain views
The course is not in great shape! The front 9 was in very rough condition. The back 9 fairways and greens were in better condition. The mountain views were gorgeous! The driving range is horrible.

Front 9 greens were pretty rough, back 9 fairways and greens were much better. Driving range needs A Lot of work. The plus to this course was the amazing views of the mountains!
Pass
Well, so to say, this should have been a pass. Need to step it up guys to get a good rating.
