Although there are many other desert golf courses in the Phoenix area, Apache Creek Golf Club offers one challenging championship course that requires the use of every club. The golf course features wide open fairways and undulating greens that are sloped back to front, some are also double-tiered. There are also numerous sand and grass bunkers protecting the fairways and greens. Extensive mounding on the course cause uneven lies and water hazards come into play on a few holes. The most difficult of the several demanding holes on this golf course, is the lengthy par-5, 10th hole. Apache Creek Golf Club also boasts two practice greens, a pitching and chipping green with a sand trap, and a large driving range with various targets.

Good Deal

Standard desert course that overbooks at times. I have played rounds in 3 1/2 hours, others in 5 hours. Always delightful staff and exceptional range and practice facilities.

Course conditions are nearly always above the community course standard. Need a bit of touch on this course to avoid overshooting doglegs.

Greens are not difficult reads here. Good confidence building course.

A Desert Course

Apache Creek Golf Course was fun. It’s nice to play a course that isn’t surrounded by houses but you do get quite a bit of traffic noise from the main highway. The club house is newer and well-maintained. Nice course!

Apache Creek

OK Course. Nothing special. Noise due to the freeway. Bring an iron for the desert as only grass is on the fairways. Better than setting home watching the wife work.

Don’t bother with this course!

Course is very bad condition, put some water on it, provide some water on course for golfers. Provide some signage / directions to next holes with green layout. Very disappointed. And your price was not competitive with other Phoenix courses.

Only bad point about the course was the grab grass on the front nine on the greens.

2.75 hours for 9 holes

I like the layout and course but pace of play very slow.. No rangers on course to keep pace. Paid to play 18 but left after 9 holes.. They need to extend start times and have a Ranger.

Nice course greens really disappointing

We golf here most seasons. This times the greens were the worst ever. The grass was really patchy and uneven. Ruined the round. We stopped at 9 and cut our losses.

Will not return,
