About
Although there are many other desert golf courses in the Phoenix area, Apache Creek Golf Club offers one challenging championship course that requires the use of every club. The golf course features wide open fairways and undulating greens that are sloped back to front, some are also double-tiered. There are also numerous sand and grass bunkers protecting the fairways and greens. Extensive mounding on the course cause uneven lies and water hazards come into play on a few holes. The most difficult of the several demanding holes on this golf course, is the lengthy par-5, 10th hole. Apache Creek Golf Club also boasts two practice greens, a pitching and chipping green with a sand trap, and a large driving range with various targets.

Ok course!
They just did Aerification so greens were bumpy! We find some of the cart paths a little confusing. The fairways were ok. The restrooms out on the course are port a johns. The golf carts do not have coolers. There is no drinking water or water in the ball washers. Part of the driving range is covered and that’s awesome! The staff was very nice! Would we play there again, sure!
Greens
The greens were bumpy and sandy. Other than this the course is well taken care of. Also this won’t last long, another week and greens will be great

Very good condition especially for this time of year.
Prices are down
Easy to find, easy check in, carts with sand , can’t take carts to car, very few playing, water bucket for towels, water bottle for us and water on course, tees were slightly long but soft, fairways good roughs dry and patchy, desert areas generally can be hit from, bunkers with minimal dirt, greens putted pretty good but medium speed only, "played in 2 1/2 hrs, prices much better now
Apache Creek Mothers Day
This was a good day and time to play. We played as a two-some at 830am. There was no one behind us for at least 4 holes. Greens were in very good shape for this time of year (rolled about a 10) . Tee boxes need work (not very level). I've played here for years and this was probably the best shape its been in.
Great layout
This course has always had extremely slow play. Don’t know if it’s overbooking. But you cannot get into a rhythm to play this course, thus the two year duration of my play there. You really should try and fix the problem.
Course was good
The course was good and the pace of play was decent. No staff available after 12:00 noon.
Time to play here again
First time back after many disappointing rounds. Course was in amazing shape. Fairways were green and had grass, this was not the case in the past. Greens were receptive and rolling true, again not the normal in the past few rounds. Pace of play was constant, not rushed but moving at a nice pace. The starter set the pace and took control, not squeezing in “members and friends” and packing the course. Actually ready to play here again
Ehhh…
5 hour round - no Marshall to monitor pace of play - greens pretty hard so they didn’t hold descent approaches - lots of dirt/dust - practice areas are good
Nice track
Fairways and 1st cut were very hard. Fairways were generally good with few bare spots. Greens were also generally good and true. Seems like course just needs water
