Although there are many other desert golf courses in the Phoenix area, Apache Creek Golf Club offers one challenging championship course that requires the use of every club. The golf course features wide open fairways and undulating greens that are sloped back to front, some are also double-tiered. There are also numerous sand and grass bunkers protecting the fairways and greens. Extensive mounding on the course cause uneven lies and water hazards come into play on a few holes. The most difficult of the several demanding holes on this golf course, is the lengthy par-5, 10th hole. Apache Creek Golf Club also boasts two practice greens, a pitching and chipping green with a sand trap, and a large driving range with various targets.

Ehhh…

5 hour round - no Marshall to monitor pace of play - greens pretty hard so they didn’t hold descent approaches - lots of dirt/dust - practice areas are good

Nice track

Fairways and 1st cut were very hard. Fairways were generally good with few bare spots. Greens were also generally good and true. Seems like course just needs water

Rate issue

I was charged $6 on my Credit card and then $120 when I got to the course. The balance per GolfNow showed $109. I questioned it with the clerk, he said it was taxes. Seems it would be cheaper and less confusing if I book directly with the course going forward.

Open fun course!

Apache Creek has a forgiving and open layout. The course has some longer holes, but forgives the errant shot. There are some strategy holes carrying over desert to reach a closer fairway approach. Staff are great and most people play at a fast speed. Great Price!

Peaceful day at the club

Late tee time 330. Like having the golf club to ourselves. Greens were rolling good. Best bang for your $$ in the east valley

Ok to play with pricesdown

Easy to find, easy check in, can’t take carts to car, sand bottles on cart, water from starter and on course, water buckets for towels, carts good yet, tees good, fairways good, roughs dry and lots of desert, bunkers in need of much assistance, greens generally good and medium speed, cart paths in need of work, could use a major fixing, nice views of Superstition if interested,, played in slightly under 4, sometimes hard to get to fairways, would be nice to have tees between whites and fronts with better designation, much nicer with prices down

Very friendly staff

Greens & fairways are good, but cart paths & roughs could be worked on.

Only reason I wouldn’t recommend this course is because there are so many other beautiful courses in the area with less desert & better maintained roughs.

Appache Creek Golf

The fairways were in good enough shape, but the Roughs were gravel and sand( not uncommon for AZ).

If i stayed in fairway would be fine. Staff were very friendly. Greens were in good shape. Loved the speed of play.

Great little track. Course conditions were great however, more signage is required to educate the players on which hole is next. Very frustrating trying to navigate the course. Also pro shop and restaurant closed down at 5 regardless of number of player still on the course, made using the facility non existent

Nice basic course

I got a GolfNow Hotdeal for $61 so I felt I got decent value. The course is flat and very basic. Pretty much impossible to loose a ball - if you miss the fairway you’ll find it in the desert. Great course to help you get a low score.
