Although there are many other desert golf courses in the Phoenix area, Apache Creek Golf Club offers one challenging championship course that requires the use of every club. The golf course features wide open fairways and undulating greens that are sloped back to front, some are also double-tiered. There are also numerous sand and grass bunkers protecting the fairways and greens. Extensive mounding on the course cause uneven lies and water hazards come into play on a few holes. The most difficult of the several demanding holes on this golf course, is the lengthy par-5, 10th hole. Apache Creek Golf Club also boasts two practice greens, a pitching and chipping green with a sand trap, and a large driving range with various targets.

Had fun

Good challenge but a lot of desert as balls run easily through the hard fairways.

Slow and over booked.

Slow play and late tee off had us 2 holes short of 18! 4 and 1/2 hours to play 16 holes, waiting on every T box 5 to 10 min. No marshal in site.

Tin cup course

Public, highly played municipal. Ok greens and layout. Some holes are very dangerous do to layout, where protective gear! Staff and pro shop are good. This track is for the beginner, intermediate golfer

Disappointed

Course is as hard as an airport runway and very poorly marked in spots.

High expectations. Low results.

Based on the website and pictures, I was excited to play this course for the first time. Unfortunately, the pictures were better than the course. Front nine was dried out. I am sorry I wasted my money on this course. The prepaid "hot deal" was wasted. Will not play here again.

Desert Course

The greens were decent but the fairways were not in good shape. I wouldn't go back.

Super slow and below average conditions

There was no Marshall and the group in front of us was obnoxiously slow, I think they were hitting multiple balls at each hole because it seemed like we waited for them to finish hitting tee shots on 12 of 18 holes.
