Enjoyed the round
The course is in good shape, the gentleman in the pro shop was friendly and helpful, as are all of the people who work here. We went late on Sunday, so the pace was good due to light traffic. Will definitely be back.
Beautiful Day
Course is in great shape, however the bunkers are a little thin on sand. So, as you should anyways, avoid them!
Hot weather alternate
Chose this course to beat the heat by gaining altitude. Course was in decent condition. We ran into thunderstorms. The course does not sound an alarm, everyone for themselves. Once in, there is no pass through from the pro shop to the rest rooms and bar without getting wet.
Good friendly staff
Course in good shape. Greens pretty good. Challenging
WagonTrails
Course in great shape. Fairways in good condition with just a few landing areas needing attention. Greens were smooth and fast. Range is beat up from inexperienced golfers cutting out chunks of sod instead of strips. Recommend the course Install mats to use one or two days a week to allow the grass to recover. Wet weather grounded the carts on the first visit. We walked and carried bags. Only recommend walking if your young and strong.
We used carts on the second visit and our game improved significantly. Carts were excellent with GPS course and hole display with accurate yardage. Looking forward to playing the course again.
Course is improving
The course is improving but still not a $80-90 course. Perfect for Hot Deals though if you stand playing in the afternoon heat.
Solid option to Sedona
We played PCG on the way back from Sedona mostly to beat the heat. Overall the course has a simple but challenging layout although big hitters can go low. Greens were in great shape. Staff was friendly across the board, nice driving range, carts w/ GPS were great and lunch at Redwoods hit the spot. Good option if you are in Prescott or looking to beat the Phoenix heat
Worth the trip.
It only took me 45 minutes to get there from Arrowhead area. About the same amount of time to travel across the valley. Or about 15 more than north Scottsdale. Played with a couple of locals and was the best golfing experience I have had in a while. I play at a lot of very high end courses around the country and the people were just awesome. The greens were of top caliber. Soft and fast. The short grass was clean and soft. The rough was of pro caliber and fair. For 60 dollars I felt the course was as nice as some 300 dollar couses I have played. Tip of the hat to all the staff. I will be back again and again.

The course was in excellent shape. The staff was very attentive, and always kept us informed of our teatime, and when we could start. We were disappointed that the snack bar was closed on the turn. We needed ice and water and we had to go inside and wait for quite a few minutes to get a snack and refill of ice and water.
Wet and soft
Nice track tee thru greens. Deep rough makes it even tougher. Was wet from nice rain so slow greens. Can see this course being tough when greens are fast. Will be back.
