Great setting. Well kept course.
Enjoyed playing hear- Mountains all around. Well groomed course. Great value. Courteous staff. Year-round play! Advice? Stay in the fairway.
What a value
For the price paid this experience was a tremendous. Would recommend to anyone. Will play there again. Pace of play was especially gratifying.
Thank you for the great review! We are so glad you liked our course! We hope you come back very soon

GREAT VALUE
ALMOST ALWAYS PLAYED THIS COURSE IN THE SPRING, SUMMER AND FALL. DONT REMEMBER PLAYING IN THE WINTER AND THE COURSE BEING SO COLORLESS. IT WAS ALWAYS LUSH GREEN AND VERY ATTRACTIVE TO MY MEMORY.
OVERALL, WE HAD A GOOD DAY AND WILL RETURN.
OVERALL RATING WAS AVERAGE DUE TO SEASONAL TIMING; NORMALLY GOOD TO EXCELLENT ALL OTHER SEASONS.
Thank you for the review! We are so happy that you love our course and come in all seasons. The Winter has been harsh on our course but we will be lush again, soon. We hope to see you back soon!
Just moved here
Course was a little rough due to the time of year...I'm confident that things will GREEN UP better as the weather gets better.
Looking forward to playing more frequently as spring and summer are coming.
Thank you for playing with us during the winter! The course should "green up" soon. We hope to see you back soon.
Traditional course
This course has difficulty without the desert forced carries found in many Arizona courses. All the employees were exceptionally friendly and courteous. The greens were particularly challenging.
Fast play, fast greens
Had so much fun here. 3 hours walking, awesome greens that ran quickly and well. Very consistent greens and a great routing for walking and pace of play.
An enjoyable leisurely round.
It's hard to carp about anything when the weather is perfect, the staff is most accommodating and the membership is friendlier than an pet puppy...maybe we just got lucky, but when members shared their solar eclipse sun glassed with us, I was impressed. By the way, the round was less than 4 hrs.
Great Course
Course was in fantastic shape. Greens ran true and quick. Perfect weather too. Didn't eat at the course.
Nice getaway from the valley
Quick one hour drive from my house to get out of the overseeding conditions in the valley. Definitely worth the trip! Enjoyed the course and conditions. Keep your ball in the fairway. Rough has tall grass and makes it difficult to find ball. And once you find your ball it is very hard to hit out of the rough.
Hidden gem in Prescott
Great course with bent grass greens that are fast and smooth the way I prefer. Fairways and tees in excellent shape. Rough a little long due to recent rains but maintenance crew has started to get it in a more manageable state. Only issues are not with the course or staff. People need to fix their ball marks on these great greens ( not hard to spot and or fix) and pick up your feet when walking on the greens. I will definitely play this course again when in the area. Finally a shout out to the excellent staff who were very nice and professional.
Ridiculous rough and narrow fairways
We have played here a number of times in the past and enjoyed our round. This time, the fairways were mowed very narrow and the rough was horrible. We spent so much time looking for balls, it ruined the day for us. What's the point of long rough and narrow fairways on a course with plenty of room and non-pro players? Can no longer recommend it.
Rough too high
I have always enjoy play Prescott C.C. However, on this day the grass in the roughs off the fairway were very high and think and despretly needed to be mowed or mowed better. We were constanltly looking for balls most of the time we would have to give up finding the ball because we were holding up play. The ball would just disapear in the deep grass even if you were only a few feet off the fairway. And if you were lucky enough to find it good like hitting it out. If the properly cut to a reasonable hight play would be faster as you wouldn't waist time looking for your ball.
Best local course for the money
The Prescott tri-cities area has a fair selection of courses to choose from, but PCC tends to deliver the best value for your dollar. The course is in very good Fall shape and offers a great alternative to the hot desert golf found in the Phoenix area. A few holes require thoughtful shot making, but this is balanced with a number of forgiving fairways and manageable greens.
Very enjoyable day with friends
Day was perfect a Prescott Country Club. Sun and clouds. No wind. Proved to give me one of my best scores ever. Highly recommend the facility.
The course is a great course.
I enjoyed playing the course and it is in wonderful condition.
Change of pace course
We play this course for a change of pace, to play a different course once in a while. The rough is tough so stay in the fairway. Greens are pretty good.
surprised
I've played all the public courses in Prescott except here till now. I was very impressed with this course. In very good shape, nice layout with elevation change. Will be back.
Very Good Condition
Course is way too long for people in our age group Me 77 her 71. Could use another Tee Box a little further forward.
Warmer and cheaper than Prescott courses
Although the course is called the "Prescott Golf and Country Club" it is a substantial distance from Prescott. It's right at the boundary of Dewey-Humboldt and Prescott Valley.
Refugees fleeing the Phoenix heat in the summer will get relief here, but less relief than that found at the courses nearer Prescott.
No blind tee shots or forced carries, modest bunkering and plenty of "green stuff" even for wayward shots makes this course a good choice for high handicappers looking to avoid frustration.
Best of The Boulders Package
Thank you for the review! We are glad that you like our course. We hope to see you back very soon!
