This course is in great shape and is fun to play. All the par 3s and 2 of the par 5s are challenging. The rest of the course is not to hard. I would highly recommend this course you will not be disappointed.
Best Golf Course in Northern Arizona
Prescott Country Club is my favorite golf course in Arizona. It is a traditional layout with fast bent grass greens. Always in incredible shape with the best closing par 5 18th in Arizona. It is fair with generous fairways and fast smooth greens. My family makes the trip from Phoenix at least once a month for the great golf and weather.

Challenging course
First time my wife and I have played this course. My wife didn't like the noise and odor of the new carts. But other than that the course was fun to play. some long par threes. Greens are the toughest part of this game.; Have to be a good reader or stay below the hole. That can be a problem having never played the course before. Will definitely come back and play again.

Not Bad
Played this course many times pace of play can be brutal at times I always shoot for early morning IE first tee time of day. Staff always has been nice and beers are cheap however sadly this is just and old Country Club struggling to stay relavant everyday I go play they have the 75+ yearold members out there doing something I know they have been through ownerships and tried to reinvigerate the club which I appreciate. Overally course is in usually good shape greens are quick more like a midwest country club then Arizona. I do love this course when I am the first time off which is easy to get. Its worth 30 or less go play and have fun.

Allowing fivesomes is too much
Prescott Country Club is a very nice golf course. It offers some challenging holes and could be lots of fun to play; but the course allows groups larger than 4somes o play and does a less than adequate job in setting up appropriate sized groups to play the links.
We started play behind a twosome and a group of five. We joined up with the twosome in front of us because the course was playing miserably slow. This appeared to be due to several mediocre players in the group of five. It was terribly slow the rest of the day.
At the turn I stopped into the clubhouse to ask whether groups larger than four were a regular occurrence. I was told that the owner of the course had chosen to allow this type of play. I let it be known that I won't be playing at the course again.
Golf is too expensive to sit and wait on such large groups.
While I really enjoy the course, I can't tolerate the apparent disregard for the players.

Good layout
I enjoyed the course but the greens had just been aerated and were pretty bumpy and slow. Also, best to stay in the fairways as the rough was very rough, with lots of holes and dips and valleys.

Great conditions
The course was in excellent shape. The facility had new golf carts, which made a good pace of play. Staff was real friendly and accommodating.

Perfect course
I've played this course dozens of times and have always enjoyed it. This last round I played was great. They had the course in tip top shape. New golf carts. And the restaurant had nice cold beer. Very friendly staff. For the money you just can't go wrong.

Overall great course.. Just a local came out of home and started hitting. Hole in front of us then get behind us and starts playing a few holes then walks back.... Then staff came playing course young cart kid. And hurried us on our last two holes waiting on us......we payed...and the freebies are rush us... Not good for Biz

The course was in great shape. They widened the fairways and cut the rough to make it a more enjoyable round. The greens were moderately hard but not as hard as the phoenix courses. A deep aeration of the greens would make the greens more receptive. This would be the only recommendation I could give. Great bang for your buck.

Looks like a different club
I've been playing here for years and really enjoy the facilities. To my surprise I showed up last week and they had a new fleet of carts. Also the driving range has a completely new professional look with brand new range balls. Not only were those done but everything looks new on the course also, new pins, flags, and ball washers. The course looks great and if you don't play hear I suggest you start. There is a definite buzz around the club. Great job Prescott Country Club everything looks great!!

Good tim
Great course with lots of green grass. Most of the courses in this area or Arizons in general have very little grass in the rough. This course is very lush. Pace of play was about 4 hours. I had a great time.

Nice Change Of Pace
Have been making the trip up to PGCC from the valley for many years, it's always a nice change of pace. Very nice views from many areas of the course of the surrounding mountains and vistas. The course, tee to green, is in very nice shape and the fairways are very tight which makes for great iron play but challenging fairway woods. The greens were a bit of a disapointment, I expected them to be much faster and smoother. Our group found them to be a bit on the bumpy side. Nice lunch after our round too. All in all a good time on a nice course. We will be back as the summer heat sets in in the valley. Go Play!

PCC value and great weather= Great Golf!!!
Weather in Prescott area is much cooler than in the Valley of the Sun (Phx) so the day's temp was a constant 78 to 82 degrees with a nice breeze. The course is in great shape with full practice facilities available its a great way to spend the day whether you're local or from down south. Pace of play avg 4.5hrs for 18 holes, plenty of shade on the course too. The cost is a great value for the set up, I would recommend this course to anyone- maybe I'll see you there.....

Very nice course
I played with someone that is a beginner. She was able to keep up with the pace of play. The facility is very nice and well taken care of. Can't wait to play it again.

Spring time golf in the mountains.
We played Prescott CC as an alternative to playing a Phoenix course to avoid 90+ temps for one day. It was an enjoyable round and will book again.
