Play Prescott Country Club

Friendly staff. Friendly co-players. Sand traps have been refurbished and play like real sand traps. Course in good condition. Carts are getting tired. Would like to see switch to electric carts eventually.

I always enjoy playing the Country Club. A very good value!

Great Value for a Good Course!

I played Prescott Golf and CC on the afternoon of March 3, 2014. The course is nestled in a subdivision just outside of Dewey, AZ. I really enjoyed the layout and length from the white tees. From the whites the course measures almost 6400 yards. Although a desert course, surprisingly, the desert waste does not come into play on many holes. The course has a few small ponds and bunkers strategically placed to make for a fun round. I am staying a month in Northern AZ and do plan on playing this course a few more times.

Very fun course

But greens were a challenge for my skill level. We ended up pairing up with some locals - extremely friendly atmosphere and low key - we loved it!

Good golf course

course is open and in good shape. Fairways are wide and very little trouble. The ball is hard to see in the high grass along the sides of the fairway though. I lost one ball and all four of us saw the ball land so it went down a hole or it was in deep grass.

Decent greens & traps. Lumpy fairways.

Decent value. The fairways are almost too bumpy to drive on. Jarred my teeth & backbone . Certainly not on par with Antelope or Stone Ridge.

nice couse

I really loved the course.. some very challaging holes and very well designed. could use a set of senior tees. the only draw back was the pace of play which was caused by 5somes on the course.they didnt care that they had holes open... talked to ranger he said they were members he then drove past them without saying a word......will go back but better prepared for waits.....

Fast greens and a very low price

We played on a cool and windy day so sometimes the goal was just to stay warm. The course was a little dated but the price was so low it was like playing for free and just renting a cart. The greens were in great shape and super fast. This was a pretty standard course and not really worth traveling for but I can see it being a good course for the locals. Everyone was very friendly and a great price on golfnow.

Course is generally in good shape. Godo value for the money

Our major complaint--very slow pace of play. For instance, we had in front of us a twosome, who had in front of them a group of five--five, not four--who were exceedingly slow. Yet no course ranger came around to tell them to pick up the pace. The fivesome was piddling along--chasing balls into the rough, spending needless time on the green, wasting time teeing off and so on. Course management needs to pay attention to the pace of play. Those guys were holding up everyone...and they just messed around.

Well worth the money

As always, the course was in great shape. The greens are receptive and fast, fairways are lush. One the top public courses in the Prescott area. Would recommend to all skill levels.

After all the rain this summer the course is in excellent shape

Play was disturbingly slow. The foursome in front of us were ridiculously slow with no respect to our foursome. Didn't see a course marshal. Didn't see a snack cart and the snack bar closed very early in the day. Seemed like a bad day but we like the course though.

Wonderful

Course was in great shape since all the rain. Greens are perfect. Rough is very deep and long. Be careful or you might loose your ball in the rough.

Great value

Tight fairways and deep rough make it a challenge to score. The length of the rough and lack of an intermediate cut, give it a tournament style feel. If you can't hit the fairways, good luck making par. The greens were in nice shape and held most approach shots.

Try someplace else

7 am T time no coffee no food, One guy behind the counter. No one else around. Get your own cart No cart attendant, no starter, no beverage cart. They may be open around eight at the snack shack we were told. Not sure.

The rough had not been mowed in a long time so it was lost ball, then take a drop.

For 45 bucks I'll pass the opportunity to put myself on a course like this again. A players assistant showed up after we made the turn and he offered nothing acted like he did not care

PCC is A OK

course conditions good, tees and greens very good. fairways very narrow at points and almost unfair since rough was so high and no transition (first cut of rough. be prepared to search for every ball in the rough, very deep and cannot see ball until right on top, it will cost you strokes not being in the fairway.
