Recommended, barely…
Course is relatively interesting, and greens are decent and have pace. They’ve given up on the bunkers (I.e. not raked by crew daily) so never sure what you may get. Fairways fine, dormant rough is thin so balls off line will roll.
Main complaint is slow play and groups piling up on short hole tees. Makes for lONG waits. No attempt to space out groups off number one (not that it would be a cure). Back nine played much better, if you endured the tediously slow front nine.
Not as nice as other Green Valley courses IMHO.
Nice clubhouse and friendly staff. Experience it to make your own opinion, but don’t pay a premium rate if you do, it’s just not worth it.

Extremely slow play - 2.5 hours for 9 holes in the afternoon Got ranger? Ken in the Pro Shop was great.
Lack of carts and every 7 minute starting times has become a problem. waits of two or more groups every hole up until the back nine. Course is in good shape except bunkers. Terrible conditon rocks, hardly any sand. On the verge of losing control of the course if it continues.

Course was busy which I was expecting, greens were lumpy to putt on difficult to stay on line to many bouncing rolls.
What hole am I on?
1. Clubhouse person doesn’t play golf and had no course in formation
2. I played alone. First time at course.
After 3rd hole there was not a hole marker to tell you what hole you were on. Unbelievable. No distances listed at the No numbered holes.
After 9 I had no idea if I had just finished 18 or wandered onto another course.
I met a 4some who told me I had just played 9.
And they were coming off 18. I told them my dilemma and they shrugged their shoulders and said “ we play here twice a week , we never think about if”.
Some beautiful holes on the course, and laid out well for a lot of iron play to stay safe off the tees.
Cart paths in disrepair and taking you off course to get some holes ( pretty weird ).
Nice restaurant and bar with a good menu and delivered well.
I never a golf staff member from noon on.

this course (and one nearby) is the only golf course I've ever played ANYWHERE that has a time at which a golf cart must be returned. Everywhere else I have played allow play until darkness. Will not be playing this golf course again.

Ranger did nothing to hurry up a group that had the whole course behind them

They have improved the course but the traps are still poor.
