Torres Blancas Golf Club

Booked on golf pass, the course put out 20 or so groups of First Tee kids off in front of us! The first two holes took 45 minutes and after 1 hour 45 minutes we only played five holes! We jumped a bunch of very young kids that were only playing 6 to nine holes. Found a big opening on back none, played nicely till hole 17 before it was too dark to continue…not a good day. But this has only happened one other time, at another course.

the course has a nice layout and some fun holes. UInfortunatelyI was paired with a couple who only played 9 holes so the second nine I followed a foursome. I gave up after 3 holes on the back nine.

I've never been to a course that offered a driving range, that didn't allow you to hit a driver.

The greens aren't in very good shape. The sand traps are atrocious.

On a positive note, the staff is the best, and the food in the grill, is great.

A 5 hour round...at one time we had 8 carts lined up waiting to tee off on the 2nd hole. It was horrible waiting basically the entire front 9...3 hours and 10 minutes. Apparently many only played 9...we finished the back nine in 1 hour 45 minutes. For this reason alone...may not be back to this course until the winter season is over.

Torres Blanca's was in good condition when we played. It was somewhat busy the first few holes but eventually opened up.

The facilities were nice and clean and the staff were nice to deal with.

A course worth playing in you're in the area

I really like the course, but the course was too crowded yesterday. Very frustrating. Booking 200 rounds per day, where normal is 144. Some holes we were backed up six groups deep on a single hole. Ridiculous. Come on, guys. You're better than that.

It is obvious they are working hard to make this a great course. The pro shop should tell all golfers if you are slow playing invite the people behind you to play through.

Caught this course on New Years Day for an amazing price so how can one complain. Greens were slow and bumpy which I didn’t expect as my son said in November they were great. One of my favorite courses but it just tends to be way to pricy and busy to enjoy the slow typical round here.
