Torres Blancas Golf Club

Caught this course on New Years Day for an amazing price so how can one complain. Greens were slow and bumpy which I didn’t expect as my son said in November they were great. One of my favorite courses but it just tends to be way to pricy and busy to enjoy the slow typical round here.

Sand traps should be called Moon traps. no sand, just rocks and stones. Otherwise tee boxes, fairways and greens are great.

The course is in the best shape we've seen in years. Fairways have nice amount of grass and the greens are in excellent shape. There have been years where this course was one we wouldn't play but there has been much improvement to the care that is given to every detail of the course.

Only thing as always greens shaggy and bunkers are pebbly. Best plan is to stay out of one but have to putt the other! Fairways great and course amazingly dry with all the rain

This course offers a fun layout and is good value. Fairways and greens in good shape. Don't play bunkers as they are rock gardens and you willl hurt yourself or damage your club.

This was my first time on this course. Pace of play and the course conditions were very good. The staff and everything else about my experience was excellent.

Unfortunately, except for the people with whom I played the round, I was unimpressed overall with my experience at Torres Blancas. To begin with, the fellow at the pro shop was not unfriendly, but neither was he welcoming. Most relevant, he neglected to tell me that there had been a frost delay so my tee time would be delayed. This led to some confusion at the first tee and one of my playing partners felt brushed off by the starter. Not a good start! It did affect my play negatively at the beginning. I know, this is supposed to be under my sole control, so why is this part of my review of the course. Call it negative mind frame. The tee boxes are in need of some care. Cut the grass!! I won't rant, but needless to say that I won't be returning.

The course was in excellent condition after overseeding. Staff was friendly and efficient. The pin placement for the day was unbelievably difficult. Every hole was within 8 feet of the fringe and on a severe slope.

Every time I play here there is standing water from what appears to be irrigation leaks.

Tree branches over hanging tee boxes need to be trimmed.

A lot of the Ladies tee boxes are not flat..

Why have bunkers if they have zero sand and are basically dirt and rocks?

Greens were a little rough and needed rolling. Fairways were nice but could have been cut alittle shorter.
