Torres Blancas Golf Club

Pace of play somewhat slow but enjoyed the round. Greens a little bumpy but navigatable. Will return to play again.

Fairways were in pretty good shape. The rough not so much. Was disappointed with the greens lots of bare spots. Could not get a true read.

The greens were like putting on cauliflower and most all tee surfaces are built on a slant. Most average public courses are in much better condition than this. Accomplished golfers would not enjoy this course. The conditions penalize your ability to score well.

Have played here several times. Good layout and in decent shape overall. Greens could be better but they were rolling well. Bunkers need work but that's the same everywhere except the high end courses. Will probably play a few more times before leaving at end of March.

Just moved to Az. Grass seems thin but I’m seeing this at most courses I’m play. Great time though.

Course was in good shape, we had a good time time, pace of play was smooth, Mountain views were fantastic. sand traps need sand, that's about the only negative i saw at the course. All in all I would play it again & again.

all 18 greens were terrible couldn't putt on them mentioned to the staff and he told me they lost their greens over summer We paid $40 each for the round that should have

charged $25

Even though the greens need work, this course is a good value for the low green fees. Saw a beverage cart only once on the front side and no coolers on the carts. During these dry conditions, plan on bringing your own bottles of water. Was asked to ride with a total stranger even though there were plenty of carts available, but the starter allowed my request to ride alone.

I don't know what happened but the greens are terrible! Back on October 31st, after the over-seed, they were in pretty good shape. NOT anymore! Without a doubt they are the worst greens of all the courses in Green Valley. Also, the sand bunkers are in terrible shape. Most of them were muddy and some even had standing water in them. This has been an issue at this course for years. They obviously have never heard of "directional" sprinklers as they water the sand traps while watering the greens. If the management refuses to maintain the sand traps I would highly recommend they fill them in and cover them with grass!

It is a shame, as the golf course has so much potential!

the greens were in very bad condition. Worse greens I have played in the tucson area. Additionally they would not let my friend rent a cart to ride by himself. They had plenty of carts. He is 82 and ended up going home without playing ..I paid for his round and would like a refund.

I booked a reservation on golf now Torres Blanca and drove two hours to the course. Only to find out when I checked in I could not have my own cart as I requested out of concerns of the Covid surge in Arizona. When I asked the pro for a cart he said we had none. And I said I am concerned about COVID. He then said oh I think I have a cart but it’ll cost you $20 for the cart rental. I have never had this issue with any other golf course they have always catered to the request as I am in the older in a high risk group. I did not see the lack of carts posted on my reservation. You may want to consider adding a category called Covid friendly. Unfortunately, I walked out and did not get to play golf as I refused to pay a $20 extra fee for what I think should be a nonprofit request. Needless to say, I will never play at this golf course again.
